Perfect for Quick Checks
This is a handy little tool for any car owner to have. The gauge is easy to use and has a "hidden" backlight feature that makes the screen super easy to read. This is my second Geartronics purchase and it definitely exceeded my expectations. Do not be scared off by the low prices on their products!! When you get the gauge in the mail, you'll need to put 2 AAA batteries in the back. You'll need to finagle the rubber-ish cover on the top of the gauge to access the battery compartment in the back -- that's the hardest part about using this device. After you insert the batteries, hit the button on the left that looks like play/pause 2 times to turn it on and activate the backlight. The gauge comes with a small hose, which you'll need to put on quickly before you can use it to check your tire pressure. In addition to checking your tire pressure, if you have an air compressor, you can also use this gauge to add air to your tire and quickly see when you've added enough. That's way more convenient than bringing your car to the tire shop when the dreaded tire pressure light turns on with the seasons changing. When you squeeze the handle, you'll notice there are two distinct positions. There's a graphic with the listing that explains what each position does. I'd recommend printing that off as a reference to store with the gauge since it does not come with instructions. It's probably intuitive for someone that does a lot of DIY car maintenance, but for someone that's not so familiar with checking tire pressure, the diagram really helped prevent any mistakes from happening.Overall, this a handy little device to keep around. It's easy to use and the digital display makes it super easy to get an exact tire pressure reading in just a second.

High quality, super easy, gets the job done
Always wanted a tire gauge that I could inflate the tires with. Finally ended up getting this one. It was a good price and had some good reviews.Pros:Feels solid, not cheapvalve stem clip makes it SO easy to put on and take off - nothing like my bike pump that makes me worry I'm going to rip the stem off when pulling the pump off!The trigger action is smooth and very easy to operateThe LED light is nice to help the display be easier to read when it's darkMultiple measuring units makes it nice for anyone to use... I'll personally never use anything besides PSIThe pressure measurement does give the same measurements as my other gauges, so I am confident they are accurateCons:The battery compartment is a pain to get to... but that's only really bad if I have to replace batteries more than twice a year. I didn't take a star for this because I'd expect you'll only need to do this once or twice a yearOverall thoughts:You really can't go wrong with this. It's affordable, it's accurate, it's durable, and super easy to use.

Cheap simple inflator with digital backlight screen... Very happy for the price.
I replaced my old Harbor Freight inflator what started to leak a lot from the valve. I was afraid that it would be junk since its plastic, but its held up pretty good so far, I am just a lot more careful and don't drop it or let it swing into the wall. The plastic is actually way more comfortable in winter when I don't want to get my gloves. I took off one star because the valve lock isn't as aggressive as I think they should have put on it. I still end up holding it still.

Great way to inflate tires using a standard air compressor
This is a great tool. I deflate and inflate my Jeep tires all the time and this has really made it easy to inflate them. No more repeated bending over to check the pressure during inflation. Extremely easy to attach to the tire valve stem. The gauge is accurate to about 1 lb. lower than my hand held pressure gauge but it is very consistent. Takes simple AAA batteries and it will turn on by itself when it senses pressure change. It easily attached to my standard 1/4" NPT Air Coupler on my simple garage compressor. This gauge is used to 100 PSI. I don't think this device would be a good idea on a CO2 PowerTank as the tank produces high pressure.

Accurate and worth twice the price!
I purchased this to replace an old service station style air gauge that always read 3 psi low. This gauge reads spot on as compared with two other gauges that I trust and I no longer have to check the pressure after filling a tire. The clip that holds the chuck on the valve is also very nice. I always have a bit of trouble getting a leak-free seal with a handheld gauge and this doesn't let the air out while I struggle getting a tight fit. The construction is a plastic composite body with metal where you make connections and the ability to release air with a half-pull on the trigger is also a welcome option.Highly recommended!Pros ConsAccurate NoneLightweightEasy to useChoice of pressure units

Check gauge for accuracy (over range of PSIs) before using....
Initially I was happy with this inflator/gauge. Unit is plastic, but appeared to be durable. No leaks at any of the fittings. Battery panel for the gauge is behind the rubber casing which also provides impact resistance for the gauge, which itself is made of plastic. Squeezing the trigger slightly while connected will release air pressure which is a nice feature. It worked great topping up the pressure in the tires on my vehicles...30 to 36 PSI range.Next use was for utility trailer tires (65 PSI) and bicycle tires (65 PSI). In both cases, the gauge pressure increase slowed to a crawl at around 55 PSI and never moved above 56 PSI. Batteries were new so not the source of the issue. As it turns out, air was still flowing and the bicycle tire ended up blowing out. So now I'm out the cost of replacing a bike inner tube. The utility trailer tires are tubeless and no doubt more tolerant. Had to quickly relieve the pressure on them to ensure they didn't meet the same fate.Buyer beware....check the accuracy of the gauge over a range of low and high pressures if you buy this one.
