ESR Paper-Feel Magnetic Screen Protector for iPad Air 5/4/Pro 11-in

picked this up mainly for drawing and note taking and it actually does what it claims. straight away you notice that paper-like resistance when using the pencil, feels a lot more natural than sliding on glass.the magnetic attachment is a nice touch. easy to snap on when you need it and take off when you don’t, which is good because you probably won’t want it on all the time.build quality is decent. feels sturdy enough and hasn’t warped or anything. magnets hold it in place properly, no slipping around while using it.performance-wise it’s great for writing and sketching. way more control and less slippery. makes a noticeable difference if you use the iPad for that kind of thing.only downside is the screen clarity takes a hit. colours look a bit muted and it’s not as sharp, which is expected but still noticeable.also picks up fingerprints and marks a bit more than I thought.for the price though, good value for money. especially if you’re using the iPad for drawing or notes. just be aware you’ll probably take it off when watching stuff.

So far so good, i actually got this to protect my nano texture glass screen, as i have a Magic Keyboard i noticed it leaving a mark on the screen, cleaning reduces the mark but does not eliminate the cause. A small rubber seal around the keyboard. So fitting this was easy, good size with no over hang. Good price, and it’s works well with the ipad all the camera and microphone work flawlessly. Even the touch screen works well, no hesitation. So as it protects the existing screen, i can replace this easier than the main screen which will be cheaper option. Also it doesn’t detract from the original screen. Update: been using a while, and it is just as good as when started. Feels different to the nano glass slightly rougher texture , but if it prevents marks from the keyboard, then it’s all the better. I would definitely buy again, and would highly recommend this if you are getting marks from the Magic Keyboard. Easy to fit, and doesn’t detract from the original look.

i’ve never drawn on an ipad before. i bought this along side buying my ipad. so i haven’t had a lot of experience drawing on the glass screen. however. this is awesome. it’s so easy to put on. you get a little wallet thing in the packaging so you can take it off and have somewhere to store it. i will say it does affect the touch sensitivity a fair bit. in my case anyway. like when closing an app, swiping up from the bottle can take a few tries. or in procreate when using two fingers to undo, it very often doesn’t pick it up. it might be because i have a glass screen protector beneath… im not sure. i can deal with but it is something that exists. and might get frustrating after a while. other than that, obviously it kinda makes the black not so black and dulls the colours. but no by much honestly. it’s a worthy draw back for the feel. which is fantastic. just the right amount of friction. and your hand glides across it unlike the glass which your hand kinda gets stuck to. but yeah, the fit is great too. i’m using an ipad air 13”. there’s a little extra gab at the camera and a thing to the left, i assume that’s for the ipad pro. but that doesn’t affect anything at all.

Had high hopes for this screen protector, but unfortunately, it was only used for a few minutes. Fit perfectly to my iPad and I loved the paper-like feel. However! My Apple Pencil did not like it at all. Skipped and jumped all over the place. Yes, it was placed correctly, yes my pencil was fully charged, no, there was no dirt, oils or fingerprints on the screen and yes, the pencil nib was properly screwed on. I tried loads of things to help make it work better, but nothing did. Kinda disappointed.

Great quality as you'd expect from ESR. Also great quality thoughtful packaging. I’ve not actually used the film properly yet, as in taking the magnetic strip protectors off, as I would need to clean my screen, but I have just placed it on top and it’s secure. It comes with two magnetic strips that secure the film in place onto your iPad glass. It’s a much better feel when writing. And it’s more smooth as in writing on paper. Writing directly on the screen my letters are less neat as the pen slides easily. I’m hoping to use it to practice my calligraphy on and just practice writing in general, instead of looking for scraps of paper. It’s seems like a waste of money but it really isn’t if you use the pen a lot. Unless you do a lot of writing we tend to rely on typing up notes on our phones and you get out of the practice of writing. Having the apple pen allows you to keep using your skill. The screen protector really does make a difference. I read that it also protects the nib compared to writing in the ipad screen. The packaging is what I would expect from ESR. it arrives in a beautiful folder. Then inside it’s placed in a strong plastic wallet so you can bin the cardboard one if you wish. Then inside the wallet it’s in a very soft plastic bag. I suppose to maybe stop it getting scratched whilst sliding it into the wallet if you have any bits on it. Very well thought of. I wish my last two purchases from them had this amount of packaging. The regular glass protector would have been so much easier if it had been presented like this.

Very good magnetic protector. Super simple to put on and it definitely adds that paper-like texture to the screen. It’s not actual paper, but for a screen protector, it does a great job. Very happy with the quality and how easy it is to remove and reattach.

Good so far, much better magnet strength than my old one which was for the M1 12.9” Pro, which I thought had weak magnets and was tough to get on straight, this one solves those issues with a better fit (possibly due to the smaller screen too). Feels nice to use with the pencil, adds a bit of resistance to writing and drawing which does help a lot for me. A little squeaky sometimes though, not all the time but every now and then a little squeak sounds when writing. Also fits flush to screen which my old one did not, there was a little loose bit around the middle of the screen where you could feel the screen protector being pushed down against the screen, and this one also solves that.A little grainy and definitely makes the black colours look a little more grey, but that’s to be expected from a matte screen protector. It’s not excessive though so I’m fine with it.

If you, like me, got an iPad for a variety of things and are a bit apprehensive about committing to a paper-like screen protector, I totally recommend this.It might not have the scratchy asmr sounds but, when note taking, sketching or drawing, it adds some realistic friction to the screen that makes for a more enjoyable and accurate experience.It can be a little fiddly to line up, especially if your iPad is in a protective case, but it’s a small price to pay for flexibility!

Eu comprei o iPad usado e já veio com a Paperlike, que eu detestei e tirei logo nos primeiros dias. Já essa película é ótima! Não atrapalha a visualização de vídeos (comparando com outras do mesmo tipo), é menos áspera, então supre o efeito de “papel” sem o barulho irritante característico e, por ser magnética e não depender de adesivo, tem risco zero de dar bolhas ou grudar em cima de sujeiras que sempre aparecem no último segundo da aplicação da película (quem tem gatos sabe como é).Vou deixar direto no iPad, mas achei legal que no pacote vem uma capa transparente pra guardar.

I like the paper feel when i draw or write, but i don’t like that shaded look on the screen when i am not writing or drawing as i edit pictures on my iPad a lot so i need the maximum sharpness i can get, with this one screen paper feel you can just take it off when you’re done ! It’s great! Very durable, very nice feeling, it sticks to the screen perfectly and never moves while you’re using it. The marks from the pen are really easy to clean away with a soft cloth. I love it and i definitely recommend it. I like that you get something to put it away so it doesn't get damaged when you travel or if you just wanna put it away. Really good price too.

I purchased this for my iPad Pro 2018, yes after somany years I finally bought it, I never knew such magnetic detachable sheets were available. I used to write on iPad but never used to enjoy it because of the smooth surface. After installing this product I really loved to write on my ipad, a very good decision.Highly recommend this product and you can’t go wrong with ESR brand. One important thing to note you might feel the edges of skin protector when swiping Horizontally.
