5 "I am conflict. But then she smiles. At me. Because she is hope." Stars!
I'm struggling to write my review for this book because it was just so phenomenal I'm not sure the words I can come up with are enough. So I'm going to keep this short and sweet. I always love Jay's writing, but Logan was next level for me. Logan was the perfect new adult romance read, with a deeply emotional and REAL side. with that perfect dose of family that Jay always weaves in. It was deeply emotional. Dark at times, and definitely WILL make you uncomfortable. It is angsty, sexy, fun, and so real. It was honestly everything. If emotions were bases Jay successfully tags each one with Logan. That being said, Logan is troubled "bad boy player" done oh so right. I'm so glad we got a glimpse beneath the bravado.Side note - I realize I'm an adult and have a family of my own, but can I be adopted by the Preston's? Please? The Preston's are THAT family. You know the one who gives you exactly what you need when you didn't even know it. Hell. I'm not even sure they realize they are THAT family or what exactly they do, but none the less they are THAT family. I think we should all strive to be that family because they are goals.

Five emotional and smokin' stars!
It’s no doubt that Jay McLean holds a special place in my heart and on my bookshelf. Her way with words just never fails to amaze me. She writes about family, friends, and love with all passion and all heart. You’ll feel the emotions bleed and flow from every sentence, every dialogue on every page. She will always make you feel like a part of this world she created, this family beyond blood and beyond distance. She’ll make you love and hurt and heal. That’s what this book feels like.Logan is raw, gritty, genuine, impassioned and poignant. It tells you of a story that we think we already know, but a handful of chapters in, you’ll discover that you are one with Aubrey in asking “What’s beneath the bravado Logan Preston?”. I admire that Jay is always so brave in tackling storylines and characters that most authors shy away from. The way she wrote Logan’s struggles and his motivations are bold and enlightening. It challenges the reader to face hard truths and grapple with the swirl of emotions going through each character.Overall, Logan is another must-read from Jay McLean. The way she plies her characters and the stories beneath each emotion is one of a kind. I love how Logan’s journey took shape and came full circle. Get ready to have sweaty eyeballs and be prepared to have your heart leap out of your chest. Logan + Aubrey is out to win your hearts.

Absolutely the BEST yet !!!!
Although Logan’s story is the second of the Preston Brothers books it can be read as a standalone, but i’d highly recommend Jay’s More Than Series and the first Preston Brother’s book, Lucas, to really familiarize yourself with all the characters. I have loved this series but i have to say that with this book Jay McLean has surpassed every single High expectation i had! This book is EVERYTHING TIMES ELEVENTY THREE !!!!!!!!!!!!Logan is the black sheep, the middle brother, the drop out, the Douche, working in the family business and has deep hidden issues he escapes from facing with the use of his addiction to his “best friend Mary.”His relationship with Aubrey begins with them both disliking each other, yet neither can deny the draw. Logan has been burned by life and Aubrey has been burned by Love, yet Jay McLean writes a story that hits you so deep it claws at emotions you didn’t even realise you had. Logan’s strength floored me, but he is after all a Preston!! Aubrey’s bravery left me in awe. Logan and Aubrey’s fall into love and Aubrey’s relationships with the rest of the Preston family melted my heart. You aren’t just reading a story, your living it right along with them. The pain, the anguish, the emotions, the tears, the sobbing they flow freely. Everything else disappears except for your need to keep turning those pages, to know more, to feel more and your addiction to these characters rules your heart and your mind. It reaches deep and grips tight. The moments of pure joy and elation when you are laughing with them, and when secrets are revealed your devastation is real!!! Jay McLean shatters your heart in the best kind of way and is one of very few authors that can have me smiling, rocking and snot sobbing at the same time !!!

Amazing!
I love the Preston Punks.Love this series although I was a little shocked to see our logan involved in drugs! I've never had to go through anything like that or have some close to me become an addict however I gave read some books which cover addiction like them this one makes me ill. In a good way, hearing it first hand, written so well that you feel what they feel and it actually makes me feel ill for what they are going through.Any way back to Logan clearly a Legend with in the ranks of the Preston clan but no one knew what was going on deep inside. No one understood and it is totally his fault as he is self distruptive and doesn't let anyone in and for good reasons. This family has had some major lows and highs!Anyway along comes so.meone who might be able to save him from his nightmares coax him to open up to someone other than family until maybe the person who saves him from the nightmare may be the cause. This book will break your heart ♥ but it will put it back together again eventually!“What if we try, and what if that was all I could promise you? Will that be enough?”God who couldn't love this man!I can't wait for more, I can't wait because I can't choose who is my favourite and every book you get a little more of all of them!I need more.

AMAZING!!!
Reviewed on behalf of Amo’s Book Corner5 StarsOh my God!!! This book was everything, I laughed and cried the entire way through huge book hangover from this one!Aubrey has moved away from her family home to get away from her ex-boyfriend and try to start afresh, the only problem she hasn’t really made any friends and the shop she owns is not doing as well as she hoped. When she meets Logan she is instantly attracted to him but he sees her one and only friend first. Logan and Aubrey continue with a kind of friendship where they insult each other pretty much all the time until one night when he takes her to see the stars.Aubrey doesn’t know the issues Logan is dealing with though and as the two grow closer they become more and more apparent. Can Aubrey help Logan through the issues or is her simply being there triggering his nightmares? What will happen when the source of Logan’s issues comes out? Can Aubrey, Logan and the rest of the Preston family deal with it and get through it together?

Jay Mclean is one of my favourite and instant -click authors
Jay Mclean is one of my favourite and instant -click authors. Soon as I saw she was releasing another Preston Brothers book I got super excited and Logan surpassed my expectations. I knew it would be good but OMG it was my favourite!! yes I know I probably say that with each book she releases but seriously each one is simply brilliant and surpasses the one before.Logan's book was so raw and emotional, it was absolutely heart-breaking but also healing. You were hinted at Logan being the wilder one in Lucas's book but now its here in black and white you can see how beautifully damaged this poor boy is and how he's dealing with it the only way he knows. You are given flashback hints as to why he has gone off the rails and I kept hoping my suspicions were wrong but I was right! I just wanted to hug him so much!I loved Audrey, aka Red, I wont say she knocked him on his arse soon as he saw her as that's not quite right as she was his girlfriends friend, but soon as he truly noticed her after his girlfriend had cheated and they spent time alone together she opened something up in him he hadn't felt before. I loved watching their relationship blossom. They were both damaged and seemed to heal each other in certain ways.Once I started this book I didn't put it down! I laughed, I cried and I felt every emotion along with Logan, Red and the rest of the Prestons. I love each and every Preston, my favourite will always be Lachlan though, he is too cute and adorable! Please don't make him grow up and have his own book, I want him to stay cute forever! Also in another note yay Lucy <3

5 bright shiny stars! ❤️
Jay McLean has such a way with words! I finished the book about 5 minutes ago and my heart is still pounding! I'm not sure if I can even put into words how much I love this family, because jay what they are. A big hectic family, filled with all kinds of characters for you to fall in love with!Logan Preston is way more than I ever thought he would be. As the middle child, I think I'd sort of written him off as just a side character that would get a quick, sweet book and live happily ever after. Boy was I wrong. I'm such an idiot. I should have known that Jay had something way better for him up get sleeve. I love Logan Preston!I just adore the whole family feel when I'm reading these books. There's so much heart and friendship!Non of the characters are perfect people and that's what makes them so loveable. I can't get enough.Aubrey was the most perfectly, imperfect girl for Logan. And Lachlan, and Lucy, and Tom...Do yourself a favour and read these books. They're Amazing! And without sounding like a suck up, I honestly think this is one of the best books I've ever read. It gave me ALL the feels!Well done Jay. It's the best! ❤️

Great intense read that leaves you wanting more from the Preston boys
Well that was intense! I’m 10 months into my maternity leave and this pregnancy flipped me from reading around 3 books a week, to having no interest in reading at all! None. Try as I might, I just couldn’t get into any books. Now, I’d seen Jay had released Logan a while ago, but didn’t want to attempt a read whilst in my book funk - I really enjoy her books and quite frankly didn’t want to ruin it by only paying half attention. I’m not sure what happened this week, but I clicked on the 30th and had it read by the next day. One of the reasons I enjoy this author’s books is that she isn’t repetitive in the narrative, she doesn’t go over the same things 10 times. The story flows and that’s what makes it a great read that tugs at your heart strings and always leaves you wanting more. In a good, hurry up and roll the next book out way! I tend to start these books thinking I won’t fall for this character as much as the others - I fail every time. A great read, that has you rooting for the characters and waiting impatiently for more from the Preston Punks.
