Amazon Basics Non-Slip Microfiber Absorbent Plush Shag Bathroom Rug Mat, Machine Washable, 21" x 34", Lavender

So soft and beautiful! We wanted the bigger size near our walk in shower and this is perfect. The first time I tried to machine wash it, it was a nightmare. None of the water came out of the rug during the spin cycle and it took a days to hang dry. But I’m going to blame that on my washing machine. I recently tried to machine wash it again and it went fine and the rug came out of the dryer looking brand new!

Soft, dries quickly and stays put.

I purchased two of these rugs. I love everything about these rugs except they don't stay in place! They are soft and beautiful. They are highly absorbent. They match my other bath decor. Just what I wanted, except they walk. I have one in front of my shower door. I am very, very careful when entering and exiting the shower, because I don't trust the rug not to slip and cause me to fall. I would have returned them, but I didn't know they would move around until we had already used them. I would not buy again, and I don't recommend if you are planning to use this in front of a shower.

Perfect size and color! Exactly what I was looking for! Does move a bit, but I have it in front of my toilet so it's not a problem for me. I have a very small bathroom with a very minimal door clearance to the floor, so I can't have a rug in front of the sink or the tub, or I can't open or close the door. So, the size of this rug was perfect for my situation!

I use these to line my guinea pigs' cage. I have a 2x6 C&C cage with a 1x2 "kitchen" on one end. I use the Paw Inspired Critter Box liners on top of the coroplast and then use these bath mats on top of the liners. I use two of these bath mats to cover the 5x2 section outside the kitchen. They don't quite cover the whole 2 grid width but that works for me. These have good absorbency and seem to do a really good job of wicking the pee to the bottom of the mat, leaving the "noodles" on top dry and soft for my piggies' feet. They shake out fairly easily (I do that once a day) and change every 4-6 days. I vacuum and then wash in the washer with detergent and vinegar. I always hang to dry and they have held up well so far. I started out just buying a few and they worked so well I ended up buying more! Edit: I have washed these about 2-3 times per month for almost 2 years and they continue to do the job with no signs of wearing out. Excellent, cost-effective bedding. The guinea pigs are comfy and happy. Still 5/5 wheeks from this household.

Got this to replace a memory foam rug that wash shedding in the wash. For that reason, I wasn't too particular about the thickness or quality, I just wanted something that would lay well and could handle being washed. Upon opening the package, I was instantly surprised by how soft it was! Definitely better than I had been expecting, and the rug itself was folded nicely in the box, not stuffed into a tiny plastic bag. The color was nice, a touch warmer than I was expecting, which is also my preference. My only real complaint, and why I docked it two stars, is that it does not lay well and shifts around a lot. I've got five kids and we all share this bathroom, so that rug is going to constantly be out of place. For someone like myself, who prefers things in place, that is going to be hard to get used to.

I am impressed with the water holding and dirt holding aspects. Our cotton bath mats were staying too wet—not drying out enough between showers. This rug wicks the water away from our feet as we move from shower to bedroom, never really feels as wet as the cotton mat did and is dry by the next time we take a shower. That alone sells me but there’s more. Our dogs always run in with wet feet so I also bought one for the garage door and two side by side for the double back door and wow. Not only are they keeping all those wet paws from tracking up my floors, but I haven't had to run my robo vacc as much because it’s also collecting a large amount of dirt the dogs were tracking in too. In fact the first time I picked the rug up after a week to see if it needed to be shaken out I was shocked and not expecting so much dirt that just fell out of all those long fibers. I had no idea and definitely didn’t see it there (dark gray but really I think it’s the length hiding it all). It was so much I had to use a dustpan to sweep it up—-would have filled up my little robo vacc. That little rug is just h to e best doggie rug ever and for a much better price than buying from a pet store. My only wish was that Amazon had a much longer version. I’d love to have one along the length of my tub and another along the length of my front doors. Great little rugs. I highly recommend.

Plush, water absorption great. The color I selected was lovely. Feels nice to step on.

This bathroom rug is soft underfoot and absorbs water really well after showers. It stays in place and dries fairly quickly. The size was just right for my space. Not super luxurious, but for the price, it’s a solid buy. Makes the bathroom feel cozy!

Fürs Badezimmer perfekt überlege mir noch ein paar davon zu bestellen. Sehr weich und angenehm an den Füßen. Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

I wasn’t expecting much from an Amazon Basics product, but this chenille microfiber mat genuinely impressed me. The texture is ultra-soft underfoot—like stepping onto a cloud after a shower. It absorbs water quickly without feeling soggy, and it dries faster than most mats I’ve used. The non-slip backing is a game-changer. It grips the floor securely, even on slick tiles, so no more sliding around or adjusting it constantly. It’s also lightweight and easy to toss in the washing machine—comes out looking brand new every time. If you're after a simple, reliable, and comfortable bath mat that does its job without fuss, this one’s a winner. I’ll be buying a second for the guest bathroom!
