Not sure, at least according to other reviews, if I just got a good one, but I've had no problems with mine.The switch feels solid with a good click when switching.I expect it will last awhile, and am pleased with the purchase!

EMG rocks
If you're looking for simple and easy, then definitely spend the money on this switch. I have them in several guitars and only had problems with one and EMG customer service is second to none. So I got a replacement in no time with ZERO hassle. Can't really say more.If you like to solder you can get cheaper switches but I find these switches to be a great value in time savings and simplicity.

I received this really old and clearly used switch that still had solder on it. How it happen, I have no idea.

I don’t know if I’m just lucky or if maybe ALS Tokai Les Paul clones are just occasionally built to Gibson specs… I didn’t need to ream out the hole or anything, this sucker popped right in. Don’t know if it works or not yet as the rest of the parts haven’t come in, but hey it fit.*Update*It didn’t work, returned.
