I wore it out; so I’m ordering this CG MODEL. **Q: How long does the battery last?** A: This vacuum is a small hand held vacuum. It is not designed for a long thorough cleaning. It is for spot jobs, tiny debris and not really to clean your whole pool. I work in a facility that has 2 pools, a therapy pool of around 35000 gallons and a Competition pool of around 310000 gallons. We have purchased 2 of the Pool Blaster Catfish LI vacuums and they have done a great job getting smaller spots and corners. That way we don't have to use our large vacuums (Gemini pool vacuums) for a job that will take around 15 minutes. It will run close to an hour. You will need your own pole attachment. We have an extendable pole to reach debris in the 6' section of our smaller pool. Great products. We are getting the CG vacuum now. But after having to buy a new aqua broom three seasons in a row (they're fragile and prone to rust in the battery compartment) I splashed out and got this. I have to say, it's great. Even more powerful than the aqua broom and much more sturdy. I never bother with hoses attached to the skimmer now - this even picks up small leaves and gravel.
