Palm Springs raised/Miami artist Jeff Palmer is a recognized leading photographer of the male nude and in this newly released Calendar 2018 the evidence for that reputation is clear. Palmer understands the volume, the mass, the surface, and the ethos of the muscular male. Jeff is a photographic artist who manages to find in the human form those aspects that are most private and most vulnerable.Presented completely in rich duotones, every page features muscular men at times fully nude, at times with portions of clothing or drape. Each of these beautifully rendered photographs suggests repose, tranquility, absorption in the beauty of the male form appreciating the Grecian grace that comes with health and care of the physique. The beauty of these images is not simply the beauty of the models (though that is ample), but in the moments of captured rapture, idylls of repose, and passion both active and passive. His use of light and light patterns highlight some of the models' skin.This calendar is a sensitive collection of photographs of beautifully healthy male models who just happen to be sharing the pleasure of the care of their bodies - a sensitive, moody, gentle, respectful praise of the male nude and Jeff Palmer knows how to capture this as well as any artist today. Compré este calendario para regalárselo a un amigo gay. Las fotos están bien, aunque echo a faltar algo de variedad. Se pueden resumir en hombres desnudos por delante y por detrás, dejando poco a la imaginación. Son imágenes muy sensuales, algunas de hombres en actitud íntima. Me ha parecido una buena compra y a mi amigo le ha gustado mucho.
