Very sturdy for a toddler
I got this for my 3 year old as a visual timer for his rest time. It is well made, thus far it has survived being dropped on the floor many times, I feel safe leaving it in his room. The first one we got had a clog in it so it wouldn't consistently run, but I contacted the company and they replaced it for free right away. My only complaint is that the sand falling down is hard to see, but this makes sense as it is a very little trickle of sand to last for the whole 60 minutes. My son knows that when the top is empty, he is welcome to come out of his room. Has solved our quiet time power struggle!

Sand Sticks
Most cycles the sand get stuck and will not flow, even after being shaken. I do not recommend this timer; very disappointed.
