A good product for a very good price.
I keep forgetting to review this!A solid product. I use it nearly daily, and have found many ways to use it to my advantage. Most mornings I consume 3-5 cups of hot tea to start the day, and this is in many ways more convenient than tea bags or a tea ball in a cup. I will make a few points however:- Using the infuser is fast and easy, and cleaning the infuser is nearly effortless. However, the infuser does not reach down far enough for the steeping of just one or two cups of tea. If just needing a couple of cups of tea from loose leaves, take the infuser out and use your tea ball.- The infuser is not made to easily steeping tea for a specific time and then removing it. I have found that a butter knife will allow me to raise and remove the infuser when I have steeped my tea to it's proper limit . . . be careful, though, as the infuser will be hot.- If you wish to make tea with tea bags, take out the infuser and steep them that way. Common sense, but some of the reviewers don't seem to understand that.- (OG Kitchen - a minor complaint) The pouring of tea gets a little haphazard when near the bottom of the pot. A more defined and pronounced spout would help.- (OG Kitchen - a minor complaint) A deeper infuser, one that reaches nearer to the bottom of the pot, would be nice.

This is the one
Like most people I read the negative reviews first to understand what it is some people don’t like about an item. Then it is a matter of deciding if the item is for you. I spent 4 hours reading all the reviews of dozens of teapots. I decided this was the one for me. The only thing you have to remember with this tea pot is to keep the heat down to medium under 280 degrees and keep the handle away from the heat. I put it on my glass top electric stove on medium heat and bring it to a boil and move it to the back of the stove and let it steep. I keep the tea pot just on the burner keeping the handle away from the heat.I wanted a glass tea pot but most of the reviews I read about glass teapots the handle was the weak spot, either being too hot or breaking. With this one it is not a problem. The infuser is deep so you can make a small pot of tea or a large one.I always make a large one and put the extra in the refrigerator for ice tea later.

I sit it directly on the burner!
I chose this particular teapot because I wanted one that I can sit directly on the burner so the first thing I did was test it out. I filled it 2/3 with water and turned on the high heat and waited for it to boil -- and it did without breaking or cracking. And I was able to remove it from the heat by picking it up by the handle without burning my hand. I sat it on the silicone pad that comes with it and it did not burn my counter.I make my tea a little differently -- I boil the water and then add the tea. Once the water boils I remove the teapot from the burner and wait for it to stop boiling, then I add the tea in the infuser and put the lid on.This teapot works perfectly for my method of tea making.

Great for All-in-One folks!
I really needed a new kettle after getting rid of my worn down and tarnished IKEA one. I was going towards buying an electric kettle that would be easily used anywhere but this one fit my kitchen as well as my need for an infuser. That being said, it does have one flaw! The plastic arm is a little too close to the pot for my liking and responds to any nearby heat so be wary of slightly melted plastic. It is easy to clean and polish though!

and I feel pleased with the product
I order this to make Chrysanthemum tea, and I feel pleased with the product, it is good quality and the perfect size, and the design for the lid is excellent, it will not fall off during pouring, so you do not have to use your hand to hold the cover. Only hope its filter can be deeper to reach bottom even more, so the hot water doesn't need that much to soak the dried Chrysanthemum in it.

Diffuser necessary when using on gas stove
Unfortunately I had to return the tea pot. I had purchased it for my mother who is elderly to use on a gas stove. I was concerned about her always having to remember to use a diffuser when boiling water. What I can say is that is was well made and a great size.

Other than that I like the product
I wish the infuser would reach little lower so I have the option of only brewingy 1 or 2 cups a tea. As it stands I have to brew at least 3 cups for the container to fill high enough to reach the infuser. Other than that I like the product.

It's a pretty standard tea pot
It's a pretty standard tea pot. Decently constructed. I have an issue with the metal ring on the rim rusting on the inside (where I can't directly apply vinegar to unrust it!). I'd also like it if the steeping filter extended further downward; since the bottom of the filter sits so high above the bottom of the pot, you realistically need to make at least 3 cups of tea to properly submerge your leaves.
