XXXL Leather Pouch for Samsung Galaxy Note II 2 will FIT w/ Otterbox Commuter on (VERTICAL)

I have this on me every night I go to work for 2 months now and so far so good. I did wire close the belt loop so it cannot be pushed up off my belt as I have had happen to me in the past with this type of open-ended belt clip. I have lost or left behind items with these slip on belt clips in the past at work, usually happens when I get up from wherever I have been sitting and especially from getting out off vehicles. So I wired closed the curved end of the clip. So my pouch now cannot just slip off my belt. I would have to be in some kind of a strong snag or tug with something where I would feel it and do something. I only hope the swiveling part of the clip don't come off or my $700 Note II would be gone. It does indeed hold the Note II encased in an Otterbox. Slips in and out easily. Seems well made and the material is nice, Two months in and all is well so far.

I bought 2 other cases for my Note2, the Ballistic for every day use, and a Bear Motion folio flip open case for dressier protection, and I can use either inside this carry case! They each fit perfectly inside for when I want to just carry it on my belt or attach to the shoulder strap on a smaller purse. The cases rear clip rotates and locks with a snug ratcheting turn. The magnet closes securely. It has a nice faux leather outer and a soft felt type inner lining. The stitching is straight and even. The side pieces have an elastic strip added for better fit. If no external case is being used for your Note 2, it will be very loose in this case as the phone is so slim. At this price no one has any reason to complain, its a great deal, order two and have a spare! Its a great case for me to use with other cases, I don't expect it to last forever and will gladly replace it when its time, as it fills my needs perfectly, so I will be re-ordering a few spares just in case. If you are looking for a good belt holster for your Galaxy S3 with Armor case then this is it. The phone fits perfect inside the holster without stretching the leather or elastics on the side. It fits snug so you wont have to worry about your phone wobbling around in it. The magnetic clasp seems fairly strong. The clip may hold up. There are no belt loops, that would have been a huge plus for the case. All in all I gave the case four star for being able to fit the phone, and for having a pretty decent clasp. I left off one star because it doesn't have belt loops and I can see the belt clip wearing out over time with constant heavy use. I would recommend this case if you are looking to house your Galaxy S3 with Otterbox Armor, At least until Otterbox releases the clip for it.

This is a huge case; it easily fits the Galaxy Note 3 with the S-View cover. The magnets hold the case closed even if you shake it.The clip was a bit on the loose side when I got it. I used a hammer to compress the clip at the curved part, this helped tighten it up enough so it wouldn't slip off my belt anymore. Just to be on the safe side, I punched a small hole on the bottom of the case, installed a metal grommet and used it to attach a wallet chain.Unfortunately, the entire clip tore out of the back after 5 months of use. Luckily the chain caught the case before it could hit the ground. At least the magnetic flap remained shut.

Bought this as a gift. We have a Note 2 clone purchased overseas and it's dimensions are close to Samsung's Galaxy Note 2, so I took a chance on the fit. I was pleasantly surprised that the fit was perfect, not too tight or too loose. The magnet closure is perfect for his active lifestyle. We were able to hook a carabiner to the holster and that worked out better for access; with or without a gunbelt. Of course, the color is basic black and the leather is flat, which matches everything else on the gunbelt. I had ordered a second holster (back-up) which has a velcro closure, and he prefers the magnet because it is quieter. We are keeping the nylon holster with velcro as a back-up. We would definitely buy from this vendor again.

I'd recommend this for anyone that has a Samsung Galaxy Note II protected by an Otterbox. The phone slips in and out with no problems, but is snugly held otherwise. The only drawback is that it only comes with the belt loop clip and it slips off too easily. I modified it so that a belt could be looped through the case itself by cutting 1/4" slits on either side of the belt loop clip and it works perfectly for me now. If it had come this way from the factory, I would rate it 5 stars.

I got this case becasue it looked large enough for me to put my phone with a cover on it, into this case and it is. It offers additional protection for the Note II even if you put it in another cover. I got the rainbow colored Eco Fused covers and I can color coordinate the phone covers and put it inside this case with room to spare. I keep it in my purse so I don't have a need for the belt snap but I use that for a money or id clip. Good buy and much less than it costs at the mall. Recommend this case!

All these type cases are reasonably priced, therefore, I buy all of them. This is a vertical type case, and can it fits my Samsung Note 3 along with another case perfectly. In other words, I double case. The case is very roomy for a Note 2 or Note 3, but it states, it will fit these smartphones with the Otterbox type case on it. That is exactly what I do, I double case. This case and it other horizontal copies are great cases for smartphones in a bumper case. That gives double protection, and it does it at a very low price.
