It was an expensive ordeal to buy so many different eyedrops, only to find they did not work, or even made the dryness and scratchiness WORSE. I tried Rx brands Restasis, Xiidra, Miebo. None helped. After struggling for too long, I found a slender needle, disinfected it, and poked it into the tip, which worked to allow the drops to flow more freely. The tip of the dispenser holds the eye drops in well enough for this process to where I can hold the bottle upside down once I’ve squeezed some out and minimizes wasting any of the liquid. I used to get frustrated having to do this at first but now that I’ve found an effective way of using the bottle, I strangely like it. ha **Q: Does mfg read these? Would mfg consider putting these drops in a bottle that can be squeezed by arthritic thumbs?** A: I agree the bottle is a horrible design. Eyes are already dry, and then squeezing and trying to hold your eye open is torture! **Q: Has anyone used systane ultra and compare with this biotrue eye drop?** A: The Systane I used to use wasn’t Preservative free so I couldn’t use it with my contact lenses. But it did work for me. This BioTrue eye drops bottle is hard to squeeze the drops out more so than Systane in my opinion. And Optase makes my eyes so watery to the point it was irritating them.
