1/2 inch .5 in French Curve Ruler Set Large and Small C

These are the sort of tool that seems completely obvious, so obvious that you wonder why no one made it 40 years ago. And yet... they didn't. SureFit had 5/8th inch slots on their template but the template is opaque and the curves too limited for my use.For anyone who drafts their own patterns, for anyone who has to do pattern fitting that goes beyond cutting at the "lengthen or shorten here" line, these tools make it so much easier. The curves included work quite well even for my rather extreme curves. These tools make it simple to draft a net pattern and then add in seam allowances. Or mark in the seam allowances on patterns that don't show them.I feel like I'm babbling! I love these tools and I think they are genius.

Being a very busy hobby sewer I love tools that help make quick work of pattern drafting. I use these rulers for drafting patterns and then for adding the seam allowance to the final pattern. I also have some of the other tools made by this company (a pocket drafting tool and a sleeve placket tool). They also make a roller type ruler for measuring on curves. These are all great tools and much appreciated by this very busy sewer.

I love that I can draft a new pattern and not have to line up my ruler again to draw out the seam allowances. I can mark out my seam allowances using the inside or outside edges of the ruler that I'm using which helps me shorten the pattern drafting time and get to sewing sooner.

Finally! As a professional seamstress, this is an incredibly helpful tool. Our industry standard is 1/2" seam allowance, so being able to easily add the seam allowance around curves without clunkily moving a straight ruler around the bend is great- and more accurate. And being able to use the inside or outside of the ruler edge makes it super helpful for matching all kinds of curves. Love it! Will recommend to all of my coworkers/friends.

This is so useful! I love keeping patterns without allowance for quick alterations. These allow me to add seam allowances right to my garment pieces quickly. The 1/8 inch markings are helpful. They are clear to better see your work.

Sturdy, accurate and saves so much time... I love these rulers. I bought both the cm and inch versions and use them both much more often than I would have thought!

So far these two rulers have been all I needed for drafting and redrafting small curvy clothing items where I need a 1/4 inch seam allowance. Very pleased.

These rulers are a must have in any sewers craft room...I draft and use patterns without seam allowances....these rulers make easy work of adding 1/2 inch seam allowance..Seller is so sweet ....included a gift....I will purchase the other sizes to round out my collection...
