This is my first $200 trash can. I honestly didn't realize a trashcan could cost this amount, so I was quite excited to see it. It was brilliantly packed, but still somehow managed to arrive with noticeable scratches on top. That is a shame because even though stainless steel is known for scratching, it would have been nice to have had a non-damaged product. The can isn't as beautiful as I thought it would be because it has a mat black strip above the handles. Plastic and stainless steel do not go well together. It is also boxy and a little bulky, not at all sleek like my last SS trashcan. Lastly, when stepping on the bottom, the lid flies up, almost too fast and out of control. So it can bang the cabinet behind where it is being used. It is not a bad trash can. But I expect a lot more for the price.

I couldn't believe how BIG this garbage can was when I got it! It was very securely packaged, and the build quality is exceptional. If you're not into recycling, you can still use this trash can but simply designate each side for certain things. If you have a small kitchen this garbage can is not for you because it does take up a lot of space, not kidding. However, you could use it some place else if you had the space for it, like in a garage, or shed, etc. It has a special place for a charcoal air-purifying filter, but they did not include one. They did; however, include a pack of very nice garbage bags. There is a flap on the top of one side of the lid for you to easily drop recyclable bottles, or any other small items into the can. The two side handles are more than adequate to help you lift this garbage can, which is quite heavy. The garbage can is made of stainless metal on the outside and a balistic polymer on the inside. The actual removable bin on the inside is made of very heavy duty plastic. The garbage can in and of itself is very aesthetically pleasing, and would look great in any large kitchen. I love this trash can, it is better than described, and I highly recommend it.

As expected, purchased in October 2022 and by mid January 2023 foot pedal will not raise the lid. Very disappointed. Sturdy, heavy, smudges easily, cleans easily, large capacity. Please fix the lifting pedal connections.

I loved this garage for the duality of it and the look. However, six months in and now the cover won't open using the step.

The idea is great - having both trash and recycling in one place. However, the mechanism to lift the lid has broken twice within 3 months. Nice idea - not sturdy.

The foot pedal broke after a month and the lid opens rapidly! We would like a replacement because we like having both recycling and trash together

This trash van fits perfectly in kitchen and has so much room that I don't have to take the trash out every other day. Great purchase!
