This is the KJB Pure Cambridge Edition
This Bible is hardcover with a dust jacket. The binding and pages are like those of a large novel, so it doesn't lay flat on its own. Nonetheless, the most important thing is that this is the KJV Pure Cambridge Edition from 1900, which is the inerrant, infallible word of God. Like the product description says, it is "scrupulously exact right down to the original italics and punctuation". This is a good buy if you're looking for the Pure Cambridge Edition; it is hard to find this online for a relatively low price.

Large and bulky in size. The print inside is very small. I use a large magnifying sheet over the letters to help me read the print better. I DO like reading from the Pure Cambridge Edition of the Authorized 1611 King James Holy Bible, as I believe it is God's WORD preserved in the English tongue (language). Other KJB have had letters and words changed which DOES change the meaning. Affordable price.

Beautiful bible about the Beautiful One!
This is the most beautiful bible I own. I have looked for years for a Pure Cambridge Edition of the KJV and this was well worth the wait. The bible is gorgeous and reads so well. I am very happy!

It would be better if the text was larger or maybe more bold
It would be better if the text was larger or maybe more bold. It can be a little bit of a strain on the eyes. The text itself is excellent. Pure Cambridge Edition, Excellent!

Not bad, but not great...
This is a bare bones edition of the PCE King James Bible that offers great value. It's not a pretty version. Aside from the cover you won't find photos, maps, illustrations or commentaries, which is exactly what I was looking for. The last thing I wanted was another bible commentary telling me how the miracle of God turning the Nile to blood could have been caused by red algae... yes, I have a NKJ that actually makes this blasphemous claim. The font is a bit small, and the paper used is probably a grade above copier paper, but it gets the job done even if it doesn't lay open easily on your lap due to the thick spine. This edition feels like a college text book.In spite of getting so many things correct in this translation, it still annoys me that "ecclesia" is mistranslated as "church" throughout the whole bible, and "passover" is incorrectly translated as "easter" in the book of Acts. I still prefer my Tyndale for this reason, even though easter is still used. Not sure why people get so enthralled with this translation when it doesn't get these basic translations right, but I'm glad I have it for a reference.
