Men's Hydro Parka

This parka is for a guy that likes RUGGED clothing. It is stiff, but is warm and breaks the wind. Just the right weight I believe for cold days out on the job. Quality construction. Heavy duck material. Great for construction where abrasion and wear and tear is an issue. Super heavy duty zipper. Great fitting hood. One thing to be aware of,......slash pockets have no closure or snaps. Items can fall out. No closure flaps and no velcro. Great for hand warming though. Cut is true to your regular size. Can be worn over a flannel shirt or sweatshirt only. I like the parka. Rob, Eastern Pa.

This coat is awesome! Made in Canada! That is awesome too! When you buy this coat, buy your exact size, cause these coats are made for the size intended for, meaning, that if you bought this coat from china or pakistan, it would not be the correct size. This coat is warm, proper fit, durable, windproof, everything that you would want in a heavy duty work coat. I will wear mine everywhere, cause it can keep you warm. This is one of the best values that I have ever found!

I wear a Large mostly but sometimes a Medium fits better and that was the case for this coat. So it's on the larger side, similar to how Carhartt items are. I took measurements of the Medium size: Armpit to armpit is 25" ... Shoulder seam to shoulder seam is 20" ... Shoulder seam to end of sleeve is 26" ... Base of collar to back hem is 34".

I am wearing it when walking with a dog, but it is very comfortable. Although I feel that making a little is rough, I made it very much in the winter climate of Tokyo in Japan. Many things of various chemical materials are circulating around me but I feel doubts about excessive quality and price. The product also liked the design, material and wearing feeling of affordable, reasonable price for the product.

Only wear when it's under 20°F. Super warm when it's super cold. Hood is meant for use with like a hard hat or something similar, just in case you didn't read all the description.

built well enough but no storm flap also runs very small so an 2 xl is really an xl.full Length body zipper NEEDS THAT STORM FLAP CAUSE PIERCING COLD CAME IN LIKE LITTLE STABS.Tough material Good jacket for some but has some major design flaws and is just unwieldy such as the hood being either all the wayup or all the way down.Fair price for the quality so if the flaws listed are bearable for some then go for it.I need a certain level of comfort even in rugged wear.

Great coat! I generally wear an XL but probably could have gotten a large. I waxed the canvas and now it is waterproof and very heavy duty.I use this in the woods while camping in the colder months.

I was sent the bomber style jacket, not the parka. Disappointing; returned. Can’t find Carharrt parkas anymore, and this looked to be a good alternative. Oh well...

This is an excellent, warm coat. Dollar for dollar, probably the best available. I appreciate the storm cuffs, also a drawstring to keep the breezes on the outside where they belong. It is a little open at the neck, and there is no way to close the collar, and that’s a drawback as well as the reason for four stars instead of five.

Bought what I thought was the same Jacket back 15 years ago. Husband still wearing it doing farm work. Not the prettiest jacket anymore holes in pockets and rips on it but still a warm jacket now he has this one so he can retire the old one he likes the new one but not as thick as the old one. No he wears the new one out to town and still uses the old one on the farm Go figure.

Tough Jacket! The cotton-twill exterior is heavy, densely woven & durable. The zipper & snaps are really heavy duty. The lining is warm enough for 30 below. I've washed it in hot water (to remove grease stains) & it never shrank at all. This parka is longer than most jackets. It covers the buttocks which makes it a lot warmer & more protective . It also provides deep pockets. Awesome parka. Will definitely be buying another one.

Built tough in Winnipeg for Canadian weatherIdeal for construction sites - probably wouldn’t look appropriate at a fashion show. This item is for men that work for a living and need quality and durability
