Yep, mine also broke immediately. Anytime you drive a 3/8 or 1/2" socket from a 1/4 inch drive, you can expect the adapter to break eventually. I have a pretty standard usage pattern for these through my work and I typically get about 6 months out of a 3/8" adapter for other manufacturers. I think this one lasted through one use and broke on the second. There are lots of equivalent items out there that hold up far longer, I don't recommend these.

Excellent adapter set. No - they do NOT come with a holder - but I don't really need a holder. So far the 1/2 inch hasn't twisted off, so the metal is sturdy. Good quality construction.

I thought they had slide locks to hold the socket on the adapter. But the "locking" referenced here is the quick-change portion on the 1/4" shank. Still better than what I had.

Been using these for a month, so far no issues other than the band coming off on the 3/8 drive

I used these for 3 weeks, and the 3/8 and 1/2 adapters broke. As a mechanic I would not recommend these items for purchase.

I cannot tell u the amount of times I wished I had the ability to use my sockets with my drill. Now I can ... love these
