Recieved LCD quickly within 2 days via AMZN Prime. Unfortunately, upon installation the LCD did not function whatsoever. Installation was straight forward, no issues other than the dead lcd panel. Being optimistic, I attempted to bring life into this new lcd by disconnecting the battery ribbon cable, reinstalling the new lcd, discharging all remaining power by holding power button for 30 seconds, then plugging in the battery. Performed this multiple times without success. I then plugged in my old damaged LCD and low and behold.... it works fine, cracked.... but it works. Swapped LCD with new one a few times to verify and the new LCD still would not come to life. Returned LCD and reordered. Ill update this review once I finally get a working LCD screen. If you need a LCD from this company and dont have time to play russian roullette (need it to work properly the first time), I would order 2 or 3 and return the ones that dont work. Atleast you'll have a 50/50 shot or better of one actually working if you buy more than one lol.Hope this helps somebody,

Worked great for me so far.If you've gotten as far as needing an LCD you probably already know--watch videos on how to. I had to replace my digitizer because I didn't watch the how to videos first. Even with the how to video, I ended up tearing a connection, so watch a couple different videos. So after spending the money on the digitizer, I was left to decide whether to spend more money on the digitizer or go to a pro? Glad I stuck with it. When I got this, it was plug and play. I made sure my battery was unplugged before snapping the connector in. Snapped the battery in, buttoned it back up and everything worked great.

Definitely got my iPad back up and running. But like others have said the color is warmer than the stock iPad screen. I also noticed the colors seem more saturated and dark things can be kind of hard to see. Not quite as good as the stock screen but does the job.As a side note: make sure you check your screen for the protective film. The first one of these I received didn’t have the protective film on it like it was supposed to. So I accidentally peeled up the polarizing layer because I mistook it for the screen protector. Don’t make the same mistake.

Had to update my review. When I first installed the LCD, it was black and barely anything could be seen on screen. Started a return for the item, and began to uninstall. On a hunch, I disconnected the battery from the main board, held down the power button for about 15 seconds to discharge everything, then plugged everything back in and powered up the iPad. Voila! Screen came right on, not black anymore, and upon functionality test, everything seems to be working properly!

Unit was packaged very well and arrived quickly. I was a little worried due to some of the other reviews I read. Despite that, it worked right out of the box. You should be mindful of cabling and screw placement when working on these devices. I feel like those who aren't are the ones most often disappointed.

I bought this LCD as 2nd attempt at fixing iPad mini broken (half blank/lines on screen due to drop) display This one worked great for me.First LCD obtained off of EBay was quasi-functional, but definitely not satisfactory. In my experience, this one is much better quality.I would advise extreme caution when installing/positioning LCD in chassis-making sure no pinches or binds. I think these LCDs are pretty fragile & the very flimsy plastic backing on it makes it super-easy to botch the install.

Just as other reviewers wrote. will not power up, while the original cracked screen still will - albeit, cracked..New Left, old right.Update: screen 2 of 2 same issue; not sure if the positive reviews are real. Digitizer i got also has no magnets for smart cover. This stinks. I QUIT

solid LCD display worked when installed except one time i had to reorder because of defective product.

Product arrived scratched. Looked to be used already.
