Exceeded my expectations
This little antenna has exceeded my expectations. Since my kids have moved away we have a couple spare bedrooms, and since most of the time no one is in them I did not want the expense of keeping cable boxes in those rooms. I purchased this antenna thinking that if it pulled in a couple local channels it would be fine. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it pulls in literally a couple dozen channels- and the hi def picture is outstanding. I mounted it on the inside of a window, it is not very noticeable from the outside (especially if the shades are down).PROS: Small, light weight, opaque Pulls in lots of channels- even without optional power sourceCONS: None that I have found

Good with reservations.
Don't expect miracles. I bought this antenna to replace a larger more unsightly antenna.Frankly it isn't nearly as good. This antenna picked up 27 stations verses 46 stations in the Las Vegas metro area. Fortunately it picked up the VHF stations I wanted which are the major networks ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS and PBS. This antenna is very location sensitive, a foot or two in any direction makes all of the difference, so keep experimenting to find the best location.Good:It picks up the TV stations I was interested in.It's small and unobtrusive.BadThe amplifier is totally worthless to me. While it picked up a few more stations in the UHF region it actually picked up fewer VHF stations. I am using it without the amplifier.Extremely location sensitive. Be aware it may not work in the location you planned to put it.I live in a townhouse 20 to 30 miles from the stations I receive. I do not have a direct line of sight to the stations. Generally speaking larger antennas are better for VHF reception.

I was Skeptical
I picked up 32 channels that I didn't even know existed. I live a long way from established TV transmitters and was skeptical at best but to my surprise I want able to pull all my regular local networks and all the other digital channels that are now out there on the air. Very cool.

I BOUGHT A SECOND ONE. This unit worked well in one bedroom with the antennae attached to the window. I was asked to get one for another bedroom that has two blocking walls plus a sliding door closet between it and the outside. It worked there as well, albeit with slightly less strength. Both of them were able to pick up a fair number of stations and both were unable to pick up a lock weak transmitting station for CBS. That is the broadcaster's fauilt however, for low signal strength. Since these are not the main TV, having one less station was not an issue for me.

Yes, it works.
At first I got no channels. I was disappointed, but then I realized that my TV was set for "Cable TV signals" on it's Coaxial Input. When I changed my TV Antenna settings over to "Off Air" format, then the channels started rolling in. 27 in all in the Central Kentucky market. So, make sure you pay attention to that detail on your TV when setting this up. In short, this thing worked for me just as I wanted.

Works excellently, and not an eyesore.
We have had a GIANT set of rabbit ears for years, but I got sick of them poking is in the face when we moved the curtains, etc. I've tried DOZENS of antennas, and had to return them all (including other window flats like this). NONE got decent, reliable reception. I finally tried this one on a hunch, and it's awesome. It's unobtrusive looking, and I get all of our channels, without fear of jabbing my eye out one day. Ha!

Works great for me!
I ordered this to replaced an older, amplified antenna with rabbit ears. That one had to be pulled out into the middle of the living room to get reception. We live about 25 miles from downtown. This new antenna allows me to leave it laying down under our TV on an open shelf in the TV stand. It picks up all the local channels in this position which is exactly what I hoped for.

Works decently, not perfect
Works pretty good! It goes a little flickery in the transition from day to night, and can flicker out at any random time, so I lose a few seconds of the action which is annoying during live sports. But overall for the price (compared to paying for cable) it’s a good deal.
