Incredible Disney coloring book! 🖍️
This Disney coloring book is so beautiful! I love that this is the first book of a collection. When I get finished with this one, I will order the next one in this collection. I love how each coloring page has the color printed painting by the one and only Thomas Kinkaid! He is an amazing artist and I've always loved his paintings! This is one coloring book that rises above others! I love having the colored painting on the left so I can color the picture just like his .or try to at least. This is the first time I've seen a coloring page have a printed copy beside of it. It makes it challenging to color it the exact same. Like honestly, I truly love this coloring book! I wouldn't rate this as a children's coloring book. It's mainly for teens and adults. The details are amazing! Thomas Kinkaid is legendary and I'm excited that I have one of his Disney coloring books! If you're a fan of Disney characters and Thomas Kinkaid, this coloring book is something I highly recommend buying! I started on it last night and I'm so excited to color each page! It's an incredible coloring book!

63 Beautiful Coloring Designs based on the Disney artwork of Thomas Kinkade (includes color photos as well)
Attached to this review will be my silent video which will show all of the pages of the coloring book, both the designs and the photos. I will also upload a few pages in photos to show how the book is put together. I own and really like both of the prior Kinkade coloring books but this one has to be my favorite. I am a fan both of his artwork and of Disney in general, so this book combines two of my favorites things. On top of that, I really like the way that illustrators interpreted the designs in this coloring book. Where the first two books had very sketch-like designs, in this book, much of the design is done is straight-forward line drawing. It will be much easier to color because of it. I find that I like the drawings in this book much more than the most recent Disney coloring books. Many of my favorite classic movies are included and there are also many of the newer sequel film characters included as well. The first thing I did after looking through this book was to go back on-line and order more copies to give away as gifts this holiday season. I know that they will be a big hit among my family and friends. This is the third Thomas Kinkade coloring book in this series and the first one to feature his Disney artwork. The books are published by Posh and follow the same format. The size of the book is the same as is the texture of the paper. The paper in this book is soft white. The designs are printed on the right hand side of with the color photo of the actual painting on the left hand side (i.e., opposite each other in the book.) This will allow me to look at the photo of the real painting while I am coloring my own. Certain coloring medium will bleed through and can ruin the colored designs (see below.) I purchased a second copy to keep the photos pristine as I work with alcohol-based markers most of the time. Here is what I experienced while coloring in this book and testing the paper with my medium: 63 Thomas Kinkade Disney designs with 63 color photos as well Designs printed on one side of the page with a photo on the back of the page. Paper is soft white, very slightly rough, non-perforated and medium weight. Designs stop before the binding area but unfinished elements are left on all four sides of the design which does not have a framing line. Glue Bound Pages can be cut out without loss of designs. I don't plan to do so as I want to keep the continuity of the colored picture and design together. Alcohol-based markers bleed through the paper. Water-based markers leave shadows of color (with some spotting through) on the back of the page except for the brush end of dual-end Tombow markers which did not leak through. India ink pens leave shadows of color on the back of the page. Gel pens do not bleed through. Colored pencils work well with this paper. I tested both oil and wax based pencils and was able to get good results from both. I got good pigment (especially with multiple layers of the same color.) I was able to layer different colors and to blend easily using a blending stick. If you decide to use markers, you will probably have some amount of bleed-through onto the back of the page. I recommend using a heavyweight sheet of paper or card stock below your working page. That will keep ink from damaging the next design below.

Thomas Kincaid Drawing Book
This book is extremely detailed with color facing pictures showing what the completed drawing should look like. It has both challenging and easily completed drawings for a well rounded experience. In my opinion it is masterfully compiled to both challenge you and satisfy your need to complete beautiful pictured.

If your a disney fan then this coloring book is a must!!
I think Thomas Kinkade was a very talented artist. This book is the best adult Disney Coloring Book I have found yet. There are a few things that kept me from giving it a full 5 stars. **Cons 1. So I use Prisma colored pencils & when I use the blending pencil it gets this messy dark gray look to it that is very visible especially blending lighter colors. I'm not sure if it's the combination of the prisma blender and the ink used in the book or if it's just what the ink does with all blenders. I'll update my review once I have tried other brands of blender pencils. I know it's not the blender pencil itself because I don't have a problem in other books. 2. I have noticed that some of the pictures have very dark, thick black lines that are too bulky looking. I've included some examples in my review that caught my attention right away. 3. Some of the details are not the same as the painted version on the left. An example is the last picture on my review. **Pros- The book seems to be well made, it's been used a lot already and shows very little wear. The pictures are beautiful the book is just pictures, no pattern pages like in a lot of adult coloring books. It's not to big and not to small. All in all I enjoy working in this book very much. I wished there were more disney adult coloring books available. This book is just pictures and not filled with pages with only patterns. That's what I really like about this book. Your not going to regret getting this book if your a Disney fan.

The Art is: Dreamy & Whimsical!! *The Perfect blend to make turning the page exciting!!!
I love Disney characters- but this book blends the perfect combination of true beautiful scenic art, with the whimsical characters and memorable moments taken from your favorite Disney movies! Every picture is truly gorgeous and it's so much fun to be able to color, shade and take your time to try to imitate the way it shows it colored- or if you decide to choose your own colors to give the picture your own twist. Either way, He makes the Disney aspect of the book more mature, but has a real talent for being able to still make it just sweet and innocent enough that it keeps you excited to finish the page - so you can get to the next page!!!! LOVE IT. (I have had 2 of the books of the series. I love them!

Another sixty-three color reproductions and line drawings of Kinkade's work - this time with Disney characters!
The long-awaited third volume in posh's Thomas Kinkade coloring book series, The Disney Dreams Collection, builds on the previous two books. It's the same format: a Kinkade color print on the left side of the page as a guide, and a simplified drawing to color in on the right side. The plus is lots and lots of color prints and pages to color; the downside is that coloring on the right side of the page may bleed through or emboss the color print on the next page. The paper is medium-weight; the cover isn't as stiff as the first book. The publishers have continued their efforts to simplify the drawings to be less and less cluttered, getting away from the problem of the first book in the series where there were so many lines showing the different graduations of color and shade that it was not that easy to pick out the actual elements in the picture. So these drawings are much clearer. In order to do that, especially with original Disney painting which had small Disney characters in a more sweeping landscape, they have chosen details from the paintings rather than the whole. For example the first reproduction in the book, Mickey & Minnie Sweetheart Cove is only a portion of the original painting. You lose a lake and glowing cottage on the far shore; you gain a very clear image of Mickey and Minnie. Sometimes there are multiple images from the same painting, but I did not see how they could be pieced together into one whole. As all of the images are identified, it is easy to look up the originals with Google; you can see how the picture has been cropped and simplified and get more ideas on the color palette The textures are also simplified by using just a detail. Colored pencil or pastel pencils are probably going to be your best bet; don't be afraid to leave white paper showing through your colors to get his luminosity. Sixty-three Kinkade prints and their drawings to color; 7.2 x 9.5 inch format. (A little smaller than a sheet of notebook paper.)

Beautifully illustrated coloring book breathes new life into favorite scenes
Watching my kids color this I sort of felt for a moment like I was seeing the stories through the original artists’ eyes. There’s so much detail in the line art, that I feel like it actually might be artistically educational. And it’s fun to see kids put their own interpretation of how they think the colors ought to be - realistic or otherwise. Break out the good set of colored pencils for this one and see what the kids come up with. I imagine adult coloring book fans will appreciate this one too. There are scenes from Disney classics from a range of eras inside.
