Great book - Just what I needed
Awesome. Exactly what I needed. LOaded with info, not overly dense or technical. Removed guesswork from learning the iPhone OS.

Ease of Use
Simple, non-developer geek speak. Easy to follow instructions with supporting graphics where necessary. Uncluttered.

Waste Dollars
I think Amazon should check this one out for possible false/misrepresentation of product. How can this "thing" be COMPLETE /ULTIMATE guide to "X" when it only has 30-40 pages of info and then so much of that about "other things."

A must have for new iPhone X users.
Fun light reading to help you better understand the iPhone X. For users of previous i Phones this book makes the change fun and easy.

Good description of Camera functions
Editing was sub-par and way too many "great!" and "terrific!" expostulations. Good description of Camera functions.

Good general coverage of the iPhone - Limited coverage of the iPhone X
If you are an iOS 10 expert who has experience of a recent iPhone then this book will add little to your knowledge. I reckon that roughly 85% of the book would be applicable to iOS 10 running on an iPhone 7. However, if your new to iPhones or (like me) rely on previous experience of iPhones and iPads (and rarely read a manual) then this could help. I certainly learnt a number of things and was reminded of others - though this relates more to the coverage of general iOS 11 features rather than those that differentiate the iPhone X from earlier iPhones. It is undoubtedly true that all the information in the book is available online but this collects it all together in a handy kindle volume. However, if all you want is coverage of the features new to the X (mostly the gestures necessary because of the missing home button) then perhaps the Apple web site is sufficient. One mistake is mention of the battery percentage figure at the top of the screen - which the X does not have room for. It looks as if this was copied from a guide for an earlier iPhone! The rating? In this revised review I have reduce the rating to 3 stars on the basis that someone with good iOS 10 knowledge would not learn much and also because of the indifferent coverage of the new iPhone X gestures - I would have liked pictures for each guesture with arrows showing the direction of the swipe as on the Apple web site.
