Capsule Holder for capsule size 2

I have to make miralax capsules for my cat. I used to do it by hand and it would take forever (~45 minutes for ~100 capsules). I made a batch of 100 capsules in about 15 minutes with this. The longest part was taking the capsules apart and then putting them back together which I had to do with the previous method anyway. I'd heard the instructions were confusing so I just went straight to youtube. It was super easy having viewed the video on how to use it. Of course the miralax is a white powder so I felt like a total drug dealer using it. Honestly that kind of enhanced the experience for me.

I had a huge problem with the design of this. When you get it set up look under it and you will see the bottom piece sits maybe a 1/4" or so off the surface. I didn't notice this and has all 50 capsules almost perfect and was tapping it down to pack it full (not overly hard) and noticed I had a few shifted sideways!!! The capsules has pushed down just below the top piece that holds it flush to the surface. I tried to push the now jamed capsules back into the top plate holder and couldn't. I had some fall flat and dump part of there herbs. I finally popped them all out the middle since the top and bottom couldn't slide and once all the capsules were out the side and into a container I knocked as much of the powder as i could into the container. I now have the herb on my shirt.....all over the container I was using....over the table....and some on the floor.MY SOLUTION: I set it back up and put the now half full capsules back in. Before I tapped them I took nickels (8 total) and made 4 stacks of 2 and put them under the container a little in from all 4 sides of the tray. That have it berry little room from bottom of the piece that holds up your capsules and from your table. I was now able to get a decent pack with the nickels for support. I now keep the nickels with my kit so I always have them. I'm glad I keep change around!!!!

This is a great time saver. It does exactly what it is meant for. Easy to use, and seems really well made. I wish I had bought this a few years ago. I just spent 10 minutes doing 2 batches of pills and have 100 done. Filling them my old one by one way it would have taken a couple of hours to get that many done.

Very easy to use. We grind up dog meds and give her caps. Can't give her pills, she tastes them and spits out.

I purchased one of those capsule filler with all the steps and plates. Was suppose to be soooo easy. Well it wasn't. When you poor the capsules in, you are supposed to shake it and the capsules fall into the holes. Thing is, not all of the capsules fall in and you must place them by hand. Then you must find the ones that went in upside down, about 20 out of 100, pull them out and replace them correctly. Now, unless you have the fingers of a 4 yr old, this is a daunting chore and you end up knocking surrounding capsules out of their placement. Ugh.With this capsule filler, it was easy! I placed 50 capsules upright by hand, plenty of room. Filling them was as with any such device. Then put the tapper under the tray to lift the capsules and capped them myself. BOOM! 50 capsules done! And without the frustration. I definitely recommend it!

I would not be able to make my cat's medicine without this. Thank you so much for having this specialty size available.

It's too small and there is no cap holder to place the tops on the capsules, so it has to be all done and by hand

My daughter had a terrible time swallowing large pills or capsules. This capsule holder made it easy for me to break down larger capsules and fill small size 2 capsules with their contents. It's extremely easy to use and to clean, and once you fill a few sets of capsules you'll find the entire process can be done quickly.
