Great to use for school, work and leisure!
My daughter, 13 yrs old, loves this item and uses it all the time for her homework, computer use, iPad use, and leisure. The hidden compartment is ideal to hold her paper, writing utensils, calculator and even a snack. Well spent money.

Nice, but too heavy
It's a nice lap desk but way too heavy. There is hidden storage which is nice. I did return it and bought a much lighter lap desk.
