These Aerators are just amazing. I have been getting quotes and offers from multiple different places and also searched for rental aerator as well. You do not need to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars to aerate your lawn.I found these Aerator shoes with spikes under when I was searching to find a cheaper solution for my yard. Ordered it, arrived in timely manner, 2 of the extra spikes came with the kit wasn't able be tightened up, so I reached to the seller/manufacturer and received a whole new kit as a replacement in 2 days.I placed them on, got my beer and my cigar, I started walking in my lawn in straight lines, I also thought I could use spray paint to mark where i walked by but I didn't need it. Just do it when you have couple inches of tall grass, so you can see your step marks/prints in the lawn. It took me about 1 hour or little over to complete my front, side and back yard. I also did double walk everywhere to ensure the quality of work.Got rain couple days after, noticed the water soaked in faster and I can tell the color difference of the grass already shows the signs of the good work I have done with these awesomely made Aerator Shoes. I also felt the great muscle workout on my legs. It is worth to it, exercise and lawn care in its best.

Just arrived today I assembled them in about ten minutes or so. I hit the yard and they are pretty sturdy. The straps stay pretty tight I had to tighten them a couple of times. I had to walk with a screw driver on me so I could clean the bottoms off because of the mud that gets built up on the bottom and won't allow the spikes to penetrate all the way. I'm 186 lbs and it was a work out definitely. But all together it's a good built product for the price. Waiting to see results after doing it a few more times.

Depending on the soil you are walking in the shoes don't work as well as I would've thought. That could either be the buckles or user error. I was hoping that the buckles hold my shoes in place a little better. They are effective but not as much as I would've thoughy.

I bought these for a grub problem, the only minor issue was putting the bolts on the spikes some went easily other I used a pair of pliers to get them started, don't know how many grubs I killed but sure got some good exercise!

Positive: They make good holes in the grass. Easy to assemble.Negative: VERY hard to keep on your feet. You can't use them with tennis shoes. Has to be almost combat boots or they'll constantly slip off. Hard to put on and keep on.

Takes quite awhile to put together, I suggest using your own wrench to tighten bolts as the one they revise is small and not easy to use. The straps work good and keep it secure to your shoes.

Gets the job done. The wrench given is cheap, and makes it difficult to put the spikes in. We used our own wrench and it worked just fine.

The product works well as advertised. It does however require some assembly which can be time consuming and a little confusing.
