premium Leather (VERTICAL) Pouch case For NEW 2014 HTC One M8 Fits with Otterbox or Lifeproof case on

A decent enough case, considering the very affordable price, but not likely something I'd use long term for a daily carry....for me it fit a very specific need, and fits it perfectly, so I will actually be ordering a few more, as spares.The PROS:+ The case is large enough to accommodate my M8, in the dual layer case I already have (about 3" x 6" x .75").+ It looks and feels like a somewhat, sort of premium kind of leather (not as nice as others I've seen, but it's not tacky looking)+ General workmanship appears of good quality, making it an attractive enough design+ Leather covered clip is more friendly than bare metal ones -- won't scratch things, or get caught as easily on thingsThe CONS:- Clip on the back feels weak, almost flimsy, and seems like it could break- Inner material, some kind of fuzzy soft stuff, comes off on the phone, not heavily, but enough that, so far, there is a little bit of black lint on the screen when removing it from the pouch. This issue seems to be diminishing, with use. For the record, I've had no issues with color bleeding onto my phone, onto my phone screen, or onto my phone case, as some reviewers have reportedWhy it was perfect for me:If I was looking for a heavy duty, pack it around, protect my phone kind of holster pouch, this would not be it.I actually wound up getting the Turtleback version, for that purpose and, while the Turtleback is more expensive, it is far superior, I think, for protection and convenience and, even though it's not leather, it's so well made that it holds its own as a quality piece.I wouldn't take the Turtleback to a Board Meeting, maybe, whereas I would, with this one (as I say, it does pass as having a more upscale look), but then again this one really wouldn't work for more robust use, likely not even carting the phone from meeting to meeting downtown simply because it doesn't offer as much protection.My main worry is the clip. It's not removable, so it's always there, which is not super convenient, but, more so, it isn't that strong, and I would worry that the holster could be jostled or knocked loose, or that the clip itself might break. I'm not sure of what the clip is made up, since it's wrapped in leather, but it feels weak, and thin.The magnetic closure of the flap is okay, but, again, not super strong -- with my case on my phone, sliding it into this holster, the flap, in fact, is a bit reluctant to close and the magnet closure is a bit hit and miss.The case also is not a full enclosure type -- it's open around the sides, to some degree, so, again, not the greatest protection.So why was it perfect for me??? Well, I was looking for something for a phone holster, in my car and this was idea.I have a perfect slot (made for a cup holder, actually, which was missing from the car when I bought it) into which I can slide a holster type case with a rear clip on it, and, boom, I have a drop in holster for my phone. My car connects to my phone already, so I have hands free, but I don't really have a handy spot to put the phone, without making it difficult to get to -- this makes it readily accessible, for coming and going. And, the fact that the clip is covered in leather means it doesn't even scratch up the slot! So, if I wanted, I could even grab the whole holster, phone inside, to take to a meeting or whatever.This makes it the perfect phone holster, for my needs -- which is why it gets five stars from me, despite not being a case I would opt for, as a daily carry for heavy use. If you're looking for just an executive style case for your M8, that can still accommodate a protective case you already have on your phone, that mostly you might keep in a briefcase or bag, then I think this could also work for that purpose, although as I say, I'd give some caution to the clip, as I'm not sure how it would stand up over time -- one reviewer already noted that it broke almost immediately -- when actually being clipped and removed multiple times per day.Regarding complaints on size, that I've read on here, this fits the M8 perfectly -- with a case on it. If it was just the phone, caseless, then yes, based on the roominess of this holster, I could see that it might feel a bit big for a caseless M8. But, as I say, if you like the case you have, but would just like a holster pouch for added convenience, this fills the bill just great. It was neither too big, nor too small, for my cased phone.Based on my concern about the clip, and based on the fact that the case is perfect for what I'm using it for, I'm actually going to buy a few back ups, now that I know it works. The M8 will be obsolete before too long, and I discovered the hard way that finding cases you once liked for your phone gets harder as the phone ages -- products for the phone eventually are no longer available. So, in case the clip would ever break, I'll have some spares, and, at this low price, that makes it very affordable, even if the clip doesn't last a super long time.While this recommendation is based on need, if this accomplishes what you're looking for, I do highly recommend it!

It does the job, but a couple of issues. I needed a belt clip for my new iPhone 6 in which I use a battery case. This is large enough to hold it. Wish it wasn't as wide as it is - but it works.The die used on the black felt on the inside of this case rubs off onto the phone. This rendered my Zagg screen protector worthless. The color embedded in the Zagg screen protector and I'm not able to clean it. I can easily replace the Zagg for $3.99 - but it will just happen again. Given the price of this pouch, I'm not surprised - however I'm really surprised by the Zagg issue. My battery case has a silver back. It's now marred by the black die from this case.So it works - just understand the color from the inside of the case will transfer to your device. If you have a black device you are fine. If not - you've been warned!

Have enough room on inside side for a stylist pen win pocket clip.

Clip broke off within the first month of use. Seller wouldn't refund/replace.

Only pouch that fits the phone with a case on it. Phone is secure but not tight. I love the pouch.
