Car Wifi Dash Camera for Cars Driving Recorder Mini Dash Cam 1080p Full HD Car Camcorder Dashboard Carcam Wireless Cell Phone Car DVR , Sony 323 Exmor , Wide Angel , Motion G-sensor (Black) I recently has two accidents, and finally thought buying a good car dash cam to protect myself from the potential (no witness) fraud per suggestion by friends. The CAR dash cam is almost a standard option in all cars sold in China due to traffic accident disputes. One time I was stopping on an up-slopped freeway exit by a red light. The car in front of me slipped and hit my front bumper. However, the driver told the policeman that it was my car that ran into his truck from the back. The police could not tell, although the other driver was driving a stick shift.I bought two different cameras from Amazon, one for wife and the other one for myself. I would say this one is the winner, and I like it very much. This cam has higher resolution and much easier setup process. Although it does not have a LCD display, I hooked it up with my iPhone quickly, and was able to operate it right on the phone screen.I have had it for over one week now, and it has been working great so far. In addition, it works really well in low light conditions. So far, this cam has satisfied me I bought this a few months back to replace my previous dash cam that went out of commission.Based on my opinion, this dash cam is a decent choice for the price ($79):• Phone App to sync with the dash cam• Great night recording• Small size• Good built quality• Wide angle recordingThis cam does not has a display, so it is not a good choice for someone who likes to have a dash cam with LCD display. In addition, it does not have GPS function, but luckily I can my phone to navigate in case I need to find direction.Overall, I think it is a decent dash cam, and would recommend it for those who normally their cell phone to view the recording. Will come back and update later after I use it for an extended period of time.

I really wanted to like this. It sports wifi connectivity. I dreamed of being able to quickly post near misses on my facebook wall for all to see (safely of course). For the price range I could not find another that offered wifi. I showed it to a friend and we both liked the way that it looks.*** I could never get it working. ***When you power it ON it created a wifi network with SSID 'TEYES'. I downloaded the recommended FinalCam app off of the Android Play store. The app found this network (full bars because I was sitting right next to it) and clicked to connect to it. I entered the password of "12345678" and it would just say "Add device fail".I noticed at the bottom of my phone that it flashed "wifi 'myhomerouter' connected" briefly. It seem that it was trying to perform a discovery on MY home network and not the wifi of the camera. So I deleted all networks in my phone so that it was not connected to any and tried again. Still no success.I tried connecting to the camera's wifi directly from my phone's settings (like a normal hotel wifi, etc.). I was able to connect successfully. Still the app could not discover it. I check to see what IP Address I was given from the DHCP built into the camera. I scanned the entire subnet and found the camera up at the top of the range (192.168.35.254 if memory serves). I found a web server there where you can give it a file to upload (for firmware update?).After many attempts later I don't even get the 'TEYES' network anymore. It is like wifi is dead now. I did not modify or adjust anything in the camera. I only attempted everything that I could think of to connect.The manual that comes with it states that it will accept up to 64GB, but asking the seller they state 32GB is the max. You be the judge. I did find it funny that the manual called it a 'TF' Card not an SD Card.I returned mine. I gave it 2 stars as my experience was less than stellar (tried reaching out to the seller). I see another comment with the same issue. Hopefully you get yours working.

This is my first time shopping for a car camera. After hearing from my friends about how important to have one in my car during commute, I did some research online. The first thing that caught my eye about this camera is its small size, high image quality and excellent buyer reviews, so I decided to give it a try. The camera was well packaged when it arrived. The installation is very straightforward and they provided detailed instruction, which is very easy to follow even to me as low tech person. It has a long cable which connects the charger with the camera. The cable is small and can be easily hidden behind the windshield and under the floor mat. The USB charger provided has an extra slot for the phone or other devices. The camera has several levels of resolution setting, which can be easily changed through an App downloaded to phone. The image quality appears quite good even at a relatively low-resolution setting, or when the outside light is dim. Video recording is automatic and real time. It does not have an LCD screen, but it is easy to display the video to the phone screen through wireless signal from the camera, without use of any phone data or WiFi. Downloading video can use both phone connection or a computer. Ever since I first installed it on my car, I have checked the recordings a few times and it has been working quite nicely and consistently. Really happy about this product!
