LANCASTER Soft Cremes Candy, Caramel, 8 Ounce Bag

For $4, I thought it was kind of a ripoff for a bag of candy at first. I mean, you can get a big pack of caramels at any gas station for $1.50. But they're marketing got to me and after endless commercials for these cremes I had to try them. Luckily, to my surprise, the bag is a good size and comes with a generous amount of pieces, so that's already a plus in my book.Taste-wise, they're soft, chewy, and delicious with just the right amount of cream. There's a good balance between caramel and vanilla, and although I'm not the world's biggest fan of vanilla, these candies hit the spot. I'd say the premium is worth it; these are definitely a step above the run-of-the-mill caramels you'll find elsewhere, and they're dangerously delicious. Be prepared to devour them by the handful, and be sure to order more than 1 bag!

Despite the protestations of my dentist, I love caramels and was thrilled to have discovered these. The Lancaster soft creme caramels aren't nearly as hard on your teeth as the usual ones that you commonly find in stores - at least that's what I tell myself :)Anyway, after getting addicted to the regular Lancaster Caramel's, I decided to give the vanilla and raspberry ones a try. These have a great balance of the two flavors while still providing the chewy satisfaction of a caramel. Both the raspberry and vanilla flavors are rich without either overpowering the other.If you like caramels in general and want to try one with a bit of a twist, you will love these. Kudos to the Hershey Company - and to the reviewers who say they can eat just one or two.

This candy is amazing! It is creamy and tasty. I love caramels and these are truly great. However, it was shipped in a cooler type of shipping box with gel inserts to keep it cool. It was very well wrapped and felt like complete overkill for a $4 bag of candy. It made me feel like a wasteful American. I will definitely buy this again... But only in the store.

Well, this product was a melt in your mouth experience. but, so is any other caramel candy I don't want to down play it too much it was delicious but a little too expensive for the cost of cheating calories (smile) if you don't mind spending a little more than buy it. It does hit the sweet spot.

I ordered the raspberry and vanilla flavor and it's REALLY GROSS. I usually prefer chocolate/caramel flavors, but thought I'd try toe raspberry. Yuck. Maybe people who really enjoy fruity caramels would like them, but I was hoping for a tarter flavor from the raspberry. Just wasn't worththe calories. To bland for me... I couldn't even finish one. Also had sort of a plastic/putty like consistency. Just not my thing.

This Lancaster soft creme candy is delicious. I got it reasonably priced as an add on. I got the vanilla and raspberry flavor. They are so smooth, soft and chewy. They are a little sticky like taffy. My husband has dentures and when chewing the candy it stuck to his dentures. So I wouldn't suggest if you have dentures. I absolutely loved the candy. I wanted to eat the whole bag but limited myself to just 4 a day which was hard.

These taste okay, a little oily. More vanilla than raspberry flavor and not very sweet.

I like these better than Werther's chewy or their new soft caramels. These melt in your mouth. They have a more buttery flavor similar to homemade. But no boiling forever & hot splattering while stirring to get to the softball stage. Yes, they are more expensive than making them yourself, but if you just have to have caramels with no time to wait these are the best. Addictive, delicious, smooth, creamy, yummy! (& Amazon ships cold-packed--no melting.)
