Floating Spa Cover Protector, 8x6, Blue-Black

Less than a year! Falls apart just as fast as the much cheaper "bubble wrap" covers! Don't waste your money. Tried to contact the company but no response!

When I called the company who supplies this product, I was told that it really worked, but I was skeptical. Our Japanese soaking hot tub is only 24" x 36", but we have had trouble with humidity building up on the underside of our cover. The water is maintained at about 112 degrees. I was told that the floating spa cover would prevent condensation from happening as well as controlling the ozone or chemical vapors from escaping. Hard to believe-but TRUE. I cut the blanket to fit and placed it in the tub. I couldn't believe that not a drop of moisture buildup appeared on the underside of our cover by the next day. Since this is in our master bath, this was an added benefit. I would highly recommend this product to anyone needing protection for their expensive hot tub covers.

This product will make a big mess when it fails and comes apart. The black and blue flakes will come off the product and make a mess. Yes it starts off well - give it time and it will end up like the other negative poster on this listing. You may even see some of the problem when you cut it to size and it flakes apart.
