"OdorBan" pleated panel filters add to the benefits of "OdorBan" pad/roll media by increasing surface area for extended service life, lower pressure drop and even greater removal efficiency. Quality Filters OdorBan pleats now incorporate Gray Matter intelligent carbon media. Gray Matter media maximizes Outer Surface Area by reducing the average carbon granule size. OdorBan Pleated Filters are available in 1", 2" and 4" depth. The Gray Matter media is continuously bonded to a 30 gauge galvanized, corrosion resistant, expanded metal support grid with an effective open area of 96%. The media is resistant to a wide range of chemicals, does not absorb moisture and will not support microbial growth. The controlled pleat spacing maximizes surface area and dust holding capacity and is bonded to the enclosure frame to prevent dust bypass. Odor Ban panel filters fit into existing filter housings so fume and odor control is available without costly retro-fitting or expensive housings and fans. OdorBan filters are rated MERV 8 per AHSRAE 52.2.
