50133 Plastic Bonder Structural Adhesive Syringe - Tan - 25 ml

Easy to use and has stood up to more than 3 months of use! I was worried that this would not plastic to plastic bond as well as I needed. But so far it held up to 3 months of use through winter. Next test will be the heat of Utah summer! The color isn’t my favorite, but it definitely has the holding strength I’ve needed. It’s super easy to use and mix, and the cap has done its job to keep the unused portion useable for future projects. The drying time was just fine, seemed to work quickly enough to not have to worry about keeping it steady for days, but it had enough workability time to allow me to get my project in the correct position before it set.

Easy to use, appreciate it coming with a little mixing stick and a mixing tray built into the packaging and you can put it back in the packaging for storage. The cap goes back on easily. Used this on a small plastic bracket on a 94 ford and it feels stronger than the original. I would definitely recommend having this in the toolbox. The price is well worth it. Color is tan like it indicates and the set time of 5mins is great especially if you have to hold it together with your hand then sets in an hr and good to use in less than 24hrs but I still waited 24hrs. Couldn’t be happier

✅ This stuff creates a bond that is stronger than the material being joined. ✅ Unlike various crazy glues, it is positionable for a few minutes after the pieces are joined. ✅ There's no smell, good, bad, or otherwise. ✅ It mixes easily. See Pro Tips, below. ✅ It works particularly well for sticking printed items made from PETG or PLA together. I wish this stuff came in other colors, for example, white or clear. (Is clear a color?) However, the tan doesn't stand out, and it can create a nice, unobtrusive bead with careful application. 📌 Pro Tips... I learned this from Bob's wife, maker of BSI Quick Cure Epoxy . Use the plastic top of a Maxwell House coffee can as a mixing surface and mix with Royalco 5723 goo spreaders. For some reason, NOTHING, including this J-B weld or their amazing epoxy will stick to either of those. I've been reusing the same lid and goo stick for nearly a decade.

This epoxy touts the claim that it cures in 30 minutes and bonds better to plastics. Yes, it cures in 30 minutes, but the cure is not hard, it is consistently slightly spongy. Other epoxies can cure fairly hard in an hour and still bond just as well to plastic. The syringe is the highest quality, though. It seals well for future use with a special valvelike cap. J-B Weld's ClearWeld is dyable to any color (or stay clear), quickly cures very well, has the special syringe and cap in 25mL, and accepts additives like glass microbeads well. I recommend ClearWeld instead.

I tried everything on my broken scooter fender. Gorilla Glue, Super Glue, and Flexible Super Glue. None of them worked. J-B Weld is amazing! It worked and it's stronger than the original plastic.

Excellent cohesion to a variety of plastic parts/hoses etc. A rat had eaten a hole in my f-150 hoses. One of the small hoses served the wiper fluid reservoir. Bought some small diameter hose and cut it down the center. Then placed the hose over the glued hose that had the hole. UPDATE: I saved almost a $600.00 repair with this J-B weld. The turn/wiper plastic like component on my 2012 F-150 was broken at the female screw holes (yes I said it). The turn signal/wiper part is almost $400.00 and involved removing the airbag so I tried J-B Weld. I followed instructions and the turn/wiper works perfectly. Important: I had to hold the part in place for about 10 minutes. Then DO NOT use until next day to allow complete drying. $7.00 for $600.00 is an excellent investment. FYI: I tried the plastic welding solution that failed. I tried zip ties and that failed. Update: After 2 months of daily use the glue is still holding. Before this repair I watched many Youtube videos on how to replace the broken turn/wiper component. Just be patient and follow instruction exactly. This is not like crazy glue. Holding the glue part in place for 10-20 minutes should be enough.

Used this to repair the plastic bracket on my side mirror. It's only been 1 week and a few in-town drives since the repair but I have an upcoming 8+ hour trip planned so will update this review if the repair fails.
