No jamming when manually racking, eject every time. They provide extra replacement plastic inserts to protect the firing pin. Nice. Review: Pretty Cool Snap Caps - I like these things. Most snap caps I've used are cheap and lightweight. These have some heft to them. They actually feel like loading real rounds into the magazine and fit the same, too. The fact they are all silver give them an attractive appearance. The plastic carrying case is nice, too. Having the extra, replaceable primer substitutes is a nice feature, too. I also have similar caps in 5.56 and those are just as great. ## Features - The weight of each training cartridge is very close to the real bullet. - Silvery color makes them easy to spot and design hanging hole to prevent mixing with real ammo. - Great for coach safety training and handling skills. However, extra pads are included. I've used them quite a bit and they're still in good condition. Haven't used the replacements yet. I hope this helps. **Q: Does it as advertised? these snap cap's weight close to the real bullets and simulate the weight of the real loading gun?** A: A fully loaded magazine is close enough to mimic the full weight, yes. **Q: do they make a 9 shot 22 magnum revolver speed loadr** A: Suggest you contact the company and ask them. I found they are very accommodating. **Q: Can you use real primers to create more realistic effect?** A: As in creating recoil? No. They are one whole piece and the hole on the back end only accepts the rubber pads meant to reduce wear on your firing pin. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent snap caps for Ruger SR-22 *by A***R on September 21, 2026* Excellent snap caps so wife could safely learn and understand how a Ruger SR-22 .22 pistol functions. No jamming when manually racking, eject every time. They provide extra replacement plastic inserts to protect the firing pin. Nice. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty Cool Snap Caps *by J***Y on June 15, 2026* I like these things. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best money can buy - by far it’s not even close *by S***Z on October 22, 2025* It’s not even close. These are the best snap caps available. The weight, the chambering, the feel, thy are absolutely perfect. They’re now the only snap caps I will use. UPDATE 7-25-26: these are BY FAR the best “snap caps” on Amazon. I’ve tried every one you can think of, and these are the only ones that have lasted a seriously long time without hardcore degradation, but these weight is really what sets these apart. A full mag and they truly feel close to the weight of live mags. That matters. Trust me. If they made these a little bit heavier, true to round weight, man they would be the absolute #1 training round. Would also be nice if they had a groove already machined in wheee you can add a oring and the round stays in the barrel, and then you can use a “passthrough” round on top of the rounds inside the magazine that way you have the weighted magazine with the ability to rack the slide, AND have “firing pin protection”. Please, version 2 please! ## Frequently Bought Together - Angeebin Training Snap Caps for Dry Fire Training Dummy Rounds Practice Safe Loading Firing - Bayattoo Steel Safety Practice Rounds Action Trainer Dummy Round Dry Fire Training Snap Cap - GORTAR Snap Caps Training Dummy Rounds Practice Safe Loading Firing Close to Real Weight --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/464339701-9mm-dry-fire-snap-caps](https://www.desertcart.be/products/464339701-9mm-dry-fire-snap-caps) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-11-03*
