Unlike other models, this treadmill comes entirely pre-assembled. The hardest part is getting it out of the box, but once you do, all you have to do is unfold it and plug it in. Review: Good value, but buyer beware - I have now used this Marcy treadmill for two weeks and I really like it. It's quiet enough so that I can enjoy Netflix shows while walking a few miles, even running a fan nearby to stay cool. BUT DON'T ACCEPT DELIVERY OF THIS ITEM IF THE BOX APPEARS DAMAGED. I made this mistake and the whole process was painful. On opening the ripped and shredded box, it appeared that UPS had dropped the treadmill once or twice; and I couldn't get the darn thing to turn on. Calls to customer support were fruitless--they only told me to return the item. desertcart customer support was willing to accept return--even arranging for UPS to pick up the treadmill at my home. The problem with returning it was once more carrying it upstairs from my basement (definitely a two person job) and then repacking it in the now ripped and torn box--along with all the damaged Styrofoam packing. So I decided to remiove the motor cover and poke around to see if I could fix the machine myself. After some trial and error I was able to remove the motor cover--damaging some unnecessary plastic items in the process --only to find that the cable connection from the motor's control board to the LCD monitor had come loose in shipping. It was an easy fix to plug the connector in tightly, and the machine now runs well. Finally, I'm now glad to own this treadmill, but I wish I had been more careful inspecting the box it came in.

If you are looking for a basic treadmill model that is affordable and easy to set up, this is it! If you want fancy with incline capability, then maybe not. Despite its basic design, it has variable speeds up to 8 miles an hour, and keeps up with time, distance, and calories burned. It even has pre-programmed workouts and some other features I've never used. I just wanted a way to get my walking in every day without having to worry about weather and other distracting factors. It's quiet enough, you can watch TV while you exercise. By walking on this treadmill everyday and keeping an eye on my calories, I have lost 11 pounds in a little over 3 weeks, which is exactly what I was looking for. Unlike other models, this treadmill comes entirely pre-assembled. The hardest part is getting it out of the box, but once you do, all you have to do is unfold it and plug it in. I don't think I've ever been more satisfied with an Amazon purchase!

I have now used this Marcy treadmill for two weeks and I really like it. It's quiet enough so that I can enjoy Netflix shows while walking a few miles, even running a fan nearby to stay cool. Llegó quebrada y no encendía, tuve que pedir un reemplazo, la atención al cliente fue buena aunque la persona que me atendió era muy pesada pero me enviaron la otra en tres días. Update.: despues que pedí el reemplazo, la otra máquina funcionó bien pero a los 10 meses ya no encendió, y el botón de reset también se dañó, lastimosamente ya no podía reclamar porque ya había pasado el tiempo 😭 en lo personal no recomiendo este producto
