Updated: I wanted it to work really bad.
Update 2: The blue puck is giving us grief with the replacement they sent. It will not work for the gripping exercises. You can't move on to the next exercise if you don't complete the previous exercise. It is a bummer that the pucks can't interchange. The exercises she can do really get her working. Mixed feelings. Will call them AGAIN to fix this issue. For $350, it should work.Update: they quickly sent a replacement. I am very happy. The software seems big and clunky but I realized that made it easy to use for the lady. As she worked with it, she said she could really feel her brain working. I hope think this is good. I will update with progess later. My girlfriend had a major stroke and bought this device to help. Unfortunately, the blue puck does not sync. I called the number on their page and there is not weekend support. Of course, the only time I can call for help is when I am at work. Gonna sort this out but am really frustrated and pissed. I will update once I contact customer support.

I recommend.
My wife had a stroke 6 months ago and her PT used the FitMi, so we obtained one for our personal use. Installation was easy and she finds it easy to use. The instructional videos are good. Her only complaint is that the puck don't always seem sensitive enough. For example, when she does a gripping exercise, it requires an extremely strong grip even when she uses her good hand. Overall, the exercises make sense. It is the kind of repetitive movement that is appropriate for this kind of therapy. She recommends it for other patients.

Work with a REWARD !
Let me start by stating that I had a bilateral stroke and all strokes affect us uniquely. When FitMi arrived I got going and it seemed rather easy. It is straight forward and you just follow the exercises and if there is any confusion you just watch the included video on how to do the exercises. As you progress the program adds exercises which adds to fatigue which helps build muscle. But try to REMEBER that your form is MOST important. I'm about 3 weeks in and my dorsal flexing for my ankle is greatly improved. I can say the same for my shoulder and elbow in terms of improvement. My hand is last to improve but REMEMBER... Proximal before Distal.... usually. So I will happily keep plugging along and remember that "Motion is the Lotion" for your joints. Issues .... I want to tell you this as I have yet to find a Workaround.... When I first got FitMi I had a driver issue with my laptop even though my laptop passed the "compatibility" check. I got this fixed with AMD. Second is the instructions are a little lacking. They do not address every situation that you come across. Conclusion... Go for it ..... Try it, adapt yourself.... and SUCCEED!!

Recovery Going Well With The Help Of FItMi
It’s hard to believe that seven months ago, I encountered a stroke that would alter my life significantly. Being 35 years of age and athletic in general, the last thing that crossed my mind is that something so drastic could alter my life in a split second. It was a rough road, but through these 7 months I have been steadfast with getting the therapy that I need to recover as fast as I can, and one of the things that caught my attention was FitMi. At first I found it difficult and frustrating to move at the pace required, but I was determined to never give up and stare defeat in the face and challenge it with all my might to rise to the occasion. Repetition is key to recovering and each day is a celebration of gaining something back that was loss as a result of the stroke. I’m moving faster and becoming stronger and I believe FitMi played a large role in the process. Give it a try and I’m sure you will be blown away by the results you achieve.

Seems to working for me!
had a stroke about a year ago (Nov 2017) which affected my left side. I had the usual inpatient rehab and then continued with the out patient rehab. I was progressing along with working hard to get my walking and my hand back to be able to use it. In May 2018, I suffered a set back with another medical problem. My progress seemed to stop or plateau. I and my wife were looking for something to jumpstart my rehab again. In November 2018, she came across Flint Rehab devices on the internet. We ordered the Fitmi around Thanksgiving and I have been using it ever since. I have noticed a improvement in my hands and being able to pick my feet up which helps me in walking better. The unit is fun to use but challenging at the same time. I look forward to the accomplishments that the Fitmi will allow, as a tool, to help me reach my goals. It has given me hope again! I highly recommend it.
