No issues until it broke. The switch & the outer base is made of plastic. There are 2 tiny pieces of plastic holding the switch to the base. They broke at the same time & the sping the switch uses to turn it on/off flew out. There is no way to fix it. I bought mine in April 2025. I thought it would last a lot longer. I didn't know it how it was constructed until it broke. Hopefully the company will replace it. If so, I will make another review. I was rewarded with a device that rotates effortlessly when I pull cautiously and apply rotational force simultaneously - which is the procedure the mfg. requires. Apparently my original device was defective or I was reckless. Either way, I am happy now. Good product. 1st review: I really liked this item. It looked good & performed well, but I thought too much effort was required to pull it out to make a position adjustment. I was proven right after 2 months & fewer than a dozen adjustments, when the puny core element snapped. On the attached photo, I marked in red the broken core - that cannot be repaired.
