Can Opener with a Fork XBNIAO

The #1 reason I got this is because I wanted a can opener that would let me replace the lid if I only use half a can, and this does the job. As another reviewer said, it did lose effectiveness over time, but honestly so has every other can opener I've ever had. It lasted almost three years before a family member threw it out, and I just bought a second one because that was stupid of him; you can sharpen the blade after it gets dull.The #2 reason I got it is because of the fork. I don't know why it comes with a fork but it's delightful.

I have struggled with conventional design can openers, looking for one that wouldn't skip irregular sections of the rim or otherwise fail. This one, with it's different design, seems to just breeze right through any can. I have only had it for a few weeks, but if it doesn't suddenly collapse on me, it is the answer to my can opener quest.

Unfortunately it stopped cutting after about 6 months. It easily cut nice smooth edges when first started using it but gradually became more difficult to turn and it started skipping, creating breaks in the cuts. It's not really usable any more. Nice fork though, still works.

I've had this can opener for three years and it is still working excellently. I open ~2 cans a week so that equates around 314 cans opened so far.

It doesn’t work after few months.
