so the glow feature isn't as useful as being high visibility in daylight
I use this on my Garmin GPSMap 62, instead of on an Astro. Fits well because both GPS handsets use a nearly identical hardcase. Previously I bought the Glowsaver GITD orange model, but I went back and bought the solid bright orange version this time. I don't really use my GPS at night much, so the glow feature isn't as useful as being high visibility in daylight. And that, this is.Being intended for the Astro, the premarked button labels don't match 100% up to my 62. But that's OK. So far I have been able to customize my menus and move forward and backward quite easily to work around the labels.

Useless
Case only glows for a short time, maybe an hour, so it won't work at night in most cases. Bright orange of the 430 is easier to see in daylight. Case covers 430 opening latch making battery change difficult. Case is no easier to clean than original and it doesn't protect it. Screen Protectors make screen more difficult to see, has bubbles confusing view.I took off Screen Protector immediately then took off Case to change batteries. Never used it again.

Good strong product
Little false advertising on this one it didn't glow in dark like other similar ones I have bought in past but I like how this one is thicker made and i can grip this one better when it gets wet when I'm hunting in the rain the way this one is made so I like it ...

Does not fit Astro 430
The package I received to it was for an Alpha, the description says Astro. Does not fit an Astro 430.

Great price and very visible. It is especially useful at night when you accidentally sit it down while giving your dog a break then leave. (Yes I did that). I would definitely buy one again.
