Product Description Thai Massaman Curry Paste | 70g | Up to 8 Servings Massaman curry blends traditional Thai ingredients like Thai shallots, lemongrass, galangal, and coconut milk with warm spices commonly found in Indian cuisine, such as cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, and cumin. Massaman curry is mild in heat with a deep, aromatic warmth of comforting flavours. Enhance the curry even more by adding peanuts and tamarind for a tangy edge. Our high-quality blend of 100% natural fresh herbs and spices can produce a curry for up to 8 servings. Our Thai Massaman curry paste is free from any additives, preservatives, artificial colourings, MSG, sugar, oil or bulking material. Registered with the Vegan Society and gluten-free. Heat profile is 1/5 Gluten-Free. Registered with the Vegan Society Ingredients: Red Chilli, Shallots, Garlic, Rock Salt, Lemongrass, Galangal, Coriander Root, Turmeric, Coriander Seeds, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Thai Lime Rind, Cardamon, Clove, Cumin Seeds, Black Pepper, Star Anise, Mace Chicken Thai Massaman Curry Recipe | Serves 3 - 4 Heat 1tbsp of oil on med/high heat in a saucepan or wok and gently fry 35g of curry paste to build aroma Add 100ml coconut milk to loosen the mix, and 1 tbsp fish sauce, 1 tbsp palm sugar and 1 tbsp tamarind . Blend well together and simmer for 2-3 minutes Add 800g chicken drumsticks , stir until fully coated with sauce. Add 100ml water and cook for 10 minutes Next add 300ml coconut milk, 500g potatoes, 1 chopped onion, 50g roasted peanuts. Bring to a light boil and simmer for 30-35 minutes. Add 50g cherry tomatoes and stir well before removing from heat. Serve up with freshly steamed Thai jasmine rice and garnish with red chilli. Enjoy! **Q: Is this suitable for vegans? Does it contain fish sauce or anchovies please?**
A: Yes, Mae Jum Thai Curry Paste products are suitable for Vegans.  Our products have been registered with the British Vegan Society.  It is, however, traditional to add shrimp paste and fish sauce during the cooking process in many Thai dishes, but we believe that these pungent flavour/aroma paste should not be packed or mixed with our blends of fresh herbs and spices. They should be kept separately. The upside is that this makes our blends suitable for vegans, who can use substitutes like soya sauce, fermented bean paste or miso. It is also appreciated by others that can use the appropriate amount of shrimp paste and/or fish sauce depending on what other ingredients they are using, or indeed to their own preference or taste.

**Q: how many curries does one sachet make?**
A: We get 3 curries out of one sachet. It keeps for 14 days.

**Q: Do you have to use the whole packet once it’s open or will it keep in the fridge?**
A: It will keep in the fridge. I tend to use the whole sachet with x1 full can of coconut milk even though it doesn’t state to on the instructions. When the curry is all made it freezes well also!
