You can shut off water to swap attachments without returning to the faucet!
This is exactly what I was looking for! I have a fairly large yard and have just done some patching in several areas with new grass seed. These need a gentle sprinkling from the hose spray nozzle. I also have 2 areas with sprinkler issues, and am just waiting for the sprinkler repair guys. In the meantime, I need to manually water those areas, and I like to use a standard garden sprinkler. For some of the trees and larger shrubs, I like to just use the hose. So I was frequently switching back and forth from the hose to the spray nozzle to the garden sprinkler - and each time, I needed to walk back to the house, turn off the water, return to the hose, remove the spray nozzle - attach the sprinkler, then return one more time to turn the water back on. Now - this handy little shut-off valve saves a bunch of trips back and forth. I attached it to the end of the hose, the lever lets you completely shut off the water. With the water cut off, it's easy to switch from spray nozzle to sprinkler and back again. And you can do all these things standing in the middle of the garden, no need to return to the faucet.

This is great when I am washing my car I can very easily turn off the thumb valve and drop the hose and not worry that I have broken, cracked the hose valve cause it is a hard rubber. I had a cheaper plastic one after dropping it a few times on the drive way it broke, you pay for what you get

Very well-made, I liked the long handles easy to turn on and off instead of some little twist knob and the extra washers were a nice touch. Definitely going to get these as I need them.

Works like it is supposed to, the gaskets are great as well as the tape. Only thing I dont like is the fact that the connectors are squared off. I have a very hard time NOT cross threading
