Very Useful!
I like being able to look back at previous weeks to check for recipes to repeat. I take this with me to the grocery store - it fits in my bag and is not cumbersome to use in the store. The layout is simple and is helpful to my husband if I'm not home for a couple of days.

Perfect no nonsense meal planning
I have two weeks left of this book and have nearly used it every week for the past year. It has simplified my life. I use the boxes on the right side of the book a little differently than intended, but it works for me!I use the "Breakfast Ideas" and "Lunch Ideas boxes for this week's shopping and next weeks shopping. Because of my work schedule, I generally submit a grocery order and pick it up midweek, although I plan my meals sometimes almost 2 weeks in advance.I use the "Shopping List" area to lay out my meals before moving them around to the proper days. The left side of that box is handy for extra items I may need that week. Sometimes I may change plans due to something being out of stock or something else being on sale that week, but after the dust settles and I have my final draft, I then write our weekly plan on a white board on the fridge for my family to view.I use the top of the page for extracurricular cooking plans/meal prepping/etc. I could use extra space up there instead of the wasted space filled with a thick, black border, but I've adapted. The difference between this book and any other way I've tried to oranize my meals is that I can go back through and easily pick out favorite meals. I have 15,734 cook books and recipe cards, give or take a few, but sometimes it takes so much mental power to "figure out what to make this week"!!

Cute and functional - best of both worlds
Very happy with my purchase. I use this every week. I’m going to need a new one soon! How cute is this!? And the price is great! It’s perfect for me. Left side is a weekly calendar, right side is a shopping list. Not complicated, basic, to the point, enough room for notes, CUTE!

Like a small notebook
I like this because it helps me plan meals. Don't cate for the part it is like a small composition note book. Next time I will buy a spiral bound one.

Handy planner for healthier eating.
I have tried various forms of food planning and this is the best I’ve found. It’s compact size is perfect for carrying in my purse and the planner has room to write what is needed to plan meals and stop wasting fresh produce without overwhelming detail that normally has me throw in the towel as too time consuming. Each week has two pages that open flat so you can see the whole week at a glance. The left page has lined space for each day, Monday to Sunday. Starting on Monday works well for me as I normally meal plan over the weekend, a seemingly small benefit for a planner but it really does help having the whole week you are planning visible while planning and grocery shopping. The right page has lined sections for “Breakfast Ideas”, “Lunch Ideas” and “Shopping List”. I LOVE the “Ideas” sections as opposed to specific breakfast and lunch planning, books or apps that have specific breakfast and lunch plans are just too time consuming to plan whereas those that don’t address breakfast and lunch have left me clueless when I’m hungry in the morning or packing lunch. I use the “Ideas” sections to write in suggestions I’ve seen in cookbooks or on tv in the past week, items in the sale circulars that look good, leftovers put in the freezer last week, etc. The “Shopping List” section is a perfect size to write down items needed for recipes, weekly sale items, etc. All in all my perfect meal planner.

Meal planning is easy!
I was looking for something that would keep me more organized. This book really helps with our weekly planning. I also don't have to worry about figuring out what to make each week. I can just go back to previous weeks and reuse the meals. The only downside is the grocery list. There's no way to tear it out without ruining the book. I'm sure it would be a pain trying to go to the grocery store and holding a book marking off everything.

Weak cover, week should start on Sunday
Thin pages and a week cover that won't last the year, easily fixed cover with thick clear tape. Other than I wish they'd started the week on Sunday but Stickers fix that. No real complaints otherwise and it's much better than trying to keep a random notebook I end up losing by week 6. Anyone looking for the Dinner Ideas section look to the page on the left that says things like Delish or Bon Appetit. Used the last pages in the book to set up basic menu "Wednesday School/clubs/work Crock Pot Night" or "Saturday No school/work Roast/Bake" with a list of suggestions. It lets me plan out how to reuse leftovers too. Tonight we are having Pasta and Meatballs in two days baked pasta (lazy lasagna)

Just one complaint...
I bought this journal to help me stop eating out and to hold myself accountable when it comes to packing my sons lunches. It’s worked out great so far, I love that it gives me enough space to write a full list. The only thing I don’t like about it, is that it gives enough space on the lines to include breakfast, lunch and dinner. But it doesn’t give a spot on the right to write down ideas, it only gives space for breakfast and lunch ideas. I’m a person who needs to see my ideas on paper and select them from there, so I wish there was extra space. Otherwise, it’s a really great purchase and I’m glad I bought it

No recipes supplied
If you only want to write a shopping list & record your recipes this is the book for you but if like me who didn’t read the description properly thought there was recipes supplied with detailed shopping lists so a waste of money

Great for online shops
Fantastic idea!! Such a good layout!! But not practical! I like to take my shopping list with me to the shops but I would have to take the whole book which I a bit awkward to hold while pushing the trolly and all!Would be amazing and would work if you online shop!!

Handy little book
A very handy little book to jot down your weekly meal plans in. Nice quality paper and more than enough room to write all your meals in.
