Packable Backpack

This is a fantastic backpack for taking on vacation !! It’s very lightweight & folded really small so I took it on our tours. It was so great I was going to buy 4 more for all my sisters!!! BUT AMAZON has nearly TRIPLED their price !!!! How can they explain this ridiculous increase in priceing for the exact same product purchased just a few months ago ?? ?? Some one please explain this to me as well as the other faithful amazon customers!! !

Great size. Very package good storage comfortable even for a large adult. Is durable and has good zippers. Well done.

I love that this backpack is feather light. It's great for personal items when traveling by air, and day trips when on the ground. It has a small very secure zipped compartment inside the main compartment perfect for holding passport, wallet and money etc. I have logged tens of thousands of miles in the air and hundreds of miles walking and sightseeing with this pack. And it still looks great. The straps are sturdy and comfortable. Three things caused me to rate it 4 not 5. First, I wish it was divided into one or two additional compartments to better separate and organize my gear. Second after significant use a primary seam separated inside - construction could be a bit sturdier. Finally water bottles sometimes fall out when you bend over - the holders could be a bit deeper. Recently I bought this pack again new - after researching I was not able to locate a lightweight alternative that met my needs better than this pack.

We bought two of these (one aqua, one black) for our 47 day eurotrip. These backpacks were all we used to carry our clothes, documents, electronics, and other travel supplies for the duration of the trip. They were just the right size, light, and not too bulky. Very durable. We wore these bags daily and they returned to the US with us without a single rip or tear. Zippers did not fail. To give you an idea of what we put these bags through, in my bag I packed 4 shirts, 1 pair of shorts, 1 pair of jeans, 1 swimsuit, 13 pairs of underwear, 1 pair of flipflops, international power converter, kindle, chargers, a mini umbrella, a hairbrush, passports, train tickets, cell phone, a towel, 2 padlocks, and shampoo. There were a few more things but that's what I remember. There was enough room for all that, and it was nice and organized. If I needed to remove something from the bag, it was easy to do and I didn't have to empty the entire bag to find something at the very bottom. We were expecting these bags to be in tatters by the end of our trip, and are so happy we were wrong. They took a beating and we are excited to bring them on more travels.

Although I ordered this more than a year ago, I used it for the first time last week. I noticed right away that there was a defect in the sewing. I’m disappointed. I learned that I should inspect items as soon as they arrive. I needed to take it on a trip with me, and it did hold up despite the defect.

The backpack was perfect for a trip where I was only taking carryon luggage for three week. It packs up very small, but holds a lot and had lots of pockets so I could keep track of a variety of things. I was able to use the backpack when I was traveling in rainy scotland, provided a fair amount of water protection, and was comfortable enough to carry on the trip home when I could check a bag.

I had an Eagle Creek packable backpack for yeeeeears, when the ripstop nylon started to rip. I bought this as a replacement and it's an upgrade! More organization with a big outer pocket, a small inner zipper section at the top of the inner pack (good for securing wallet and phone), A divider in the back (keeps papers or my laptop in place), and two outside mesh water bottle pockets. Will work great from my international travels and need a daypack. I use it at home constantly for errands. I travel a fair bit and I value packing light. I love that the pack is featherweight but strong. I can use it as my 2nd piece of luggage, or I can pack it into its pocket and toss it in my bag. My only quibble in the water bottle pockets are a little shallow, or my waterbottles are just too tall. It flips out of the pocket. Maybe those pockets would work better if I had more contents in the main pack.

This pack totally let me down at the worst possible time. Had just zipped my phone into the front pocket when the security agent at the airport scanner told me to take it out and put it in a bin (small airport in Mongolia). When I went to unzip it, the zipper pull came off in my hand--it had never been stitched down at the top. The ends of each half of the zipper were flapping loose and nothing was torn. He let me through when he saw the zipper pull in my hand. But after 30min of trying to re-feed the pull onto the teeth, I gave up and pulled it open by hand. All the small items in the pocket now had to be dumped into the main compartment, making things impossible to find, and too dangerous to open for fear of things falling out. Made of nearly sheer nylon, the side pockets aren't sturdy enough to hold more than empty water bottles. Save your money. Buy something else.

small & compact, yet the perfect size when open. Very comfortable to wear and holds everything needed for your day trip. Great to pack in your suitcase.

We use this on day trips. Holds alot, carries water bottles, folds up decently small for travelling light. Even can fit a fleece, and raincoat inside. Holding up well.

Es una mochila plegable por lo cual no tiene estructura rígida, es súper ligera y tiene los tirantes y la espalda con una malla que evita que uno sude por cargar la mochila (la ma yo iría de las mochilas plegables solo tienen este material en los tirantes) la recomiendo para viajar y cargar cosas en el día, si llevas aparte otra maleta para cosas pesadas. Buen tamaño aunque la calidad ha disminuido un poco pero por el precio está bien (tiene algunos defectos en la tela) en comparación con la que tuve hace unos años de mejor calidad. Excelente servicio al cliente al reportar los defectos.

Pésima calidad, la tela es casi transparente y demasiado delgada, parece papel. Esperaba mucho más de Travelon. Lo único bueno es su diseño pero no aconsejo usarla para viajes.

This is the perfect carry-on for flying. I love how lightweight it is and it has super comfy shoulder straps. I had borrowed my son's same backpack for my last vacation and loved it so much I ordered my own.
