TRUCE Wood Cleaner, Citrus

I was looking for greener/healthier products to clean our home. I searched the Environmental Working Group's household cleaner database and found this rated as a 1 (which is great) and bought it. It smells great and it cleans great. You do have to shake it, but that's not a deal-breaker to me. I'd highly recommend it!

We have been using this product for years. Love the way it protects the wood and cleans the surface. Great natural product and made in the USA. The product lasts for quite a long time, even though the bottle may seem small. A little goes a long way. We use with a microfiber cleaning cloth.

Smells strongly of vinegar, not citrus at all

I REALLY wanted to like this product. I switched from the METHOD floor cleaner, which worked great but didn't rate all that great on the EWG's Guide to Healthy Cleaning site, and this TRUCE product did rate well so I wanted to try it. So I used it exactly per the instructions on my gorgeous very dark stained oak floors. At first I was thrilled at the beautiful luster this product created. But the FIRST time I walked across the (dry) floor, every detail of my footprint was documented on the floor. NO MATTER what shoe, or slipper, or barefoot or stocking feet- every step left a detailed footprint. Company came the next day, and my floors were a disaster within 5 minutes. They looked like a construction site with dusty boot and shoe prints EVERYwhere! This product is just much too oily to be used as a floor cleaner. So I've spent the ENTIRE weekend trying to clean this product off my floors. (I did my entire lower level of my house with it! ugh!) I've tried every solution offered on the internet and nothing has solved the problem. I've tried all combinations of water and vinegar, and dish soap, and lemon, and high concentrations of soap and vinegar, and then no water at all, but nothing is lifting this oil!! The best results are from applying paper towels and scrubbing the oil up, on my hands and knees Cinderella style. I'm going to have to try the Method cleaner to see if I can turn this mess back to a smooth dull luster. So suffice it to say I am a VERY unhappy customer. Possibly on lighter colored floors this product works well...(?) Any suggestions on how to lift the oil would be appreciated! Thank you in advance.

A solid cleaner, works well on my reclaimed wood.A previous comment mentions they didn’t like how the ingredients are simple and straightforward, but for me, I thought that was one of the best things about it. My child has chemical sensitivities, so we’re big believers of only bringing safe products in the household. I don’t have time to make my own cleaning products, so truce seems to be a superb alternative.

Product smells great, but leaves a film and streaks on my wood surfaces. I also did not receive a sprayer with the bottle. I contacted the seller but never heard back.

I absolutely love this stuff. I just added a little bit more olive oil that way my wood table would look a little bit more shinier. I will purchase again!
