It's a typical silver cream, needs to be wiped with soft cloth to remove tarnish, smell is not offensive.

So much better and faster to clean heavily tarnished silver with this and then do a second pass with polish. Easier and better results

Although Flitz is food safe, not sure of this. I compared often and use both. Wenol edges out the competition with a better gloss. I use on jewelry, watches, fishing gear, lots of antique razors, knives, watches, car, motorcycle and sterling silver etc. . . . First read it on a newslistist for motorcycles decades ago. Could only find it on-line. Hope this helps

I have used this for years on my Parker Sonnet pen trim and it works great.

Have to scrub hard esp in the nooks and crevices of my silver lamps and or Pooja items.But maybe I need to be more frequent in using it.Wish there was an easier way to get them to shine
