Coffee Canister (Large) Airtight Seal Set with Scoop - Stainless Steel Kitchen Storage Container with AirFresh Valve Technology (Lavender Latte)

This is exactly what I was looking for. It is large enough to hold lots of coffee, and also large enough on the inside to have a long spoon in there as well instead of hanging something off the side (and getting grinds everywhere they aren't meant to be!). I go through coffee quick, but it always seems fresh to me and the lid closes tightly and easily (the latch is easy to use). Very happy with this product!

As far as coffee cans go, there's not a whole lot that a product can do to really differentiate itself from the rest. After, they're just containers that holds ground coffee. Functionally speaking, an empty pickle jar would probably save the same purpose as the fanciest coffee can from Crate and Barrel. So what is it about this coffee canister from Kitchables that distinguishes it from other options, and is it worth the $27.95 price tag? As a coffee afficionado, I'd say the answer is a resounding yes.When it comes to my coffee, I buy whole-bean at the grocery store and only burr grind the exact amount I need every morning. This canister has changed that routine a bit. I still personally don't prefer grinding enough coffee for more than a day or two ahead, but it's something I certainly feel comfortable doing with this product. The seal is tight, and the stainless steel ensures that every time I open the can, I'm still smelling coffee as fresh as when I just ground it. The stainless steel scoop is a great bonus too, as it measures perfectly for my espresso filters when that's the route I choose to make my brew each morning.So is it worth the price? If you're someone who just needs a can to store pre-ground coffee from the grocery store in, probably not. But if that's you, you probably weren't shopping for this product in the first place. If you're like me, and coffee is an integral part of your morning routine, something you take pride in preparing each morning, and enjoying at just the right time to get your day started off right -- this product definitely adds value to that experience. And if you're like me, then I would 100% recommend this canister.

This is a solid canister that keeps coffee fresh by preventing light and air - coffee's two worst enemies - from harming your precious beans.The canister itself has a pretty standard, stainless steel design that looks a lot like food canisters you would use in your pantry. It has a tight hinge (a plus) and more than enough room to load well over a pound of coffee beans.The difference between this canister and other food canisters is the lid, which is not see through. In other words, it does not allow for light to penetrate the container (another plus). The lid also has a dial you can set to keep track of how long you've had your beans, although the design of this is a bit cheap and doesn't slide or click too easily. One note here on the lid: the month dial (on the inside) moves along with the day dial (on the outside), meaning you'll have to adjust the month after setting the specific day. This is only slightly annoying, but lowered my score from a five to a four.Finally, the lid design allows for natural gases from the coffee beans to get out of the container, while not allowing coffee killing air to get in.With a bonus scoop to keep your hands off the beans, this is a really solid coffee canister.

This canister is just what I was looking for. I'm totally addicted to my "Rusty Dog" Vice coffee that I get from Madison, WI. I order the whole bean by 2 lb bags from them. The canister does not hold 2 lbs of whole bean coffee but it does have room for 1 1/2 lbs. It keeps my beans fresh and the canister is very attractive sitting next to my black/stainless steel coffee maker.

I've been using the Kitchables Large Coffee Canister for several months now. The canister feels very lightweight, initially I was worried it was too light and not heavy duty enough to handle my rough and clumsy household but I've been extremely impressed with this product.The valve on top allows coffee beans and grounds to stay fresh and it comes with a free scoop to make measurements a breeze.I've used other Kitchables products as well and am constantly impressed with the quality of their products and their customer service and attention to detail. This product is definitely no exception to their continued quality and is a must have for any coffee lover/addict.

We've been enjoying this coffee canister for the past several days that we have owned it. The spoon on the side fits perfectly within the grinds inside of the canister. The seal seems airtight; directions recommend using the grinds stored within the canister within 3 weeks' time, but since we buy coffee in bulk, I'll be storing grinds in there for longer than 3 weeks, and I feel comfortable with that. This is a more stylish replacement for the OXO container in which we had previously been storing coffee grinds inside. The black and stainless steel combo matches our modern kitchen perfectly. I certainly recommend this coffee canister.

I received the canister promptly and  in perfect condition.  I waited a day or two to start using it, as I had to finish the bag of coffee I was still using. After filling it with a fresh bag of my favorite coffee (Seattle Post Alley, formerly known as Seattle #5),  I've used it for several days and each time I've opened it, the coffee still looks and tastes like it just came from an unopened bag.

Got this canister and LOVE everything about it! The silver is a perfect color with all my stainless steel appliances. Most of all I love the size of this. I've gotten other canisters and they just don't hold enough coffee beans. I could never get a full bag in. So I've been searching for one this size! Also love the air tight seal and the dial on top. I have 3 other canisters I bought from other places previously and won't be using those anymore after getting this one.

Purchased this coffee container mainly due to the description and photo of the product. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE. The container is cheaply made, like a decorative copy of a coffee canister that is only for display not for real use. Made of low quality materials, flimsy construction. paint that can be removed with your fingernail and much smaller than I thought. I actually ordered the large size canister. I'm glad I didn't order the small one. Not worth $5.00 let alone $28.00.

I bought this to try and save money on kcups with my Keurig. Now I to wait for my coffee order!
