Featuring high-contrast black and white markings, multiple angle guides (30º, 45º, 60º, 120º), patented Turn-A-Round seam allowance, and exclusive grip sides, it ensures precision, stability, and versatility for complex projects. Perfect for millennial makers who demand efficiency and flawless results. ## Description This 12-1/2 x 24-1/2" rectangle ruler is what we call the Big Easy – the largest rectangle on the market. This ruler is the perfect choice for home dec projects, trimming quilts, and cutting and mitering borders, it’s almost twice the width of the best-selling 6-1/2" x 24-1/2" rectangle ruler! It features easy-to-read black and white markings printed in 1" grids marked in 1/8" and 1/4" increments. Use the easy-to-read, black numbers (printed on white dots) and the 1/4" grip sides to cut whole inches. The 1/4" dashed lines printed on two adjoining sides aid in trimming seam allowances. Use the patented Turn-A-Round feature – designated by the easy-o-read, numerical white numbers (printed on black dots) and the 1/2" grip sides – to add the 1/2" seam allowance. Use the white 45º angle to trim half-square triangles in whole-inch increments. Use the black 45º angle to trim half-square triangles in half-inch increments. Or use these 45º angles to cut mitered corners on wide borders. An additional black 45º line is placed so that two angles cross 1/4" away from the outside edge. Use these markings to square up flying geese units; squares set on point or mark cross-hatching. The ruler also features 30º, 60º, and 120º angles. White horizontal and vertical lines are printed on the rectangle so the center of the ruler is easily distinguishable. Use these lines to fussy cut stripes and borders. ## Features - This 12-1/2 x 24-1/2" rectangle ruler is what we call the Big Easy – the largest rectangle on the market. The lines are thin and the plastic is clear for accurate measurements. I use the ruler for cutting quilting fabrics. I hope there will be more available soon as my friend would like one too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth it! *by on Reviewed in the United States 16 August 2025* Creative Grids rulers are the best! Admittedly, they are a little pricey, but worth the extra. Easy to read numbers/letters. Having both whole number & half number increments on the same ruler saves time & increases accuracy. Depending on the ruler size, 60, 45 & 30 degree angles are marked. On the ruler backs, they have a rough texture around the edges & in other places to prevent the ruler from slipping while cutting. Rulers are of good thickness & quality. I plan to have years of use. ## Frequently Bought Together - Creative Grids Quilt Ruler 12-1/2in x 24-1/2in Rectangle – CGR1224 – Made in USA, Non-Slip Grip Acrylic Quilting, Sewing, Crafting, Patchwork Ruler for Measuring & Cutting Fabric - Creative Grids Quilt Ruler 8-1/2in x 24-1/2in Rectangle – CGR824 – Made in USA, Non-Slip Grip Acrylic Quilting, Sewing, Crafting, Patchwork Ruler for Measuring & Cutting Fabric --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/462245299-creative-grids-the-big-easy-6-1-2in-x-24](https://www.desertcart.be/products/462245299-creative-grids-the-big-easy-6-1-2in-x-24) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
