I had no issues with the picture quality of the product. However in just about a year of using it, the product began fall apart. The outer shell un-clipped somehow so whenever I unplugged an HDMI cord the whole product would come apart. It was pretty cheap so I wasn’t too disappointed, but it definitely isn’t the most durable product.

This is a beautifully designed product. Well constructed. Packaged nicely. And is a useful and needed device.But every time I plug it into my 2017 MacBook Pro, it crashes the CPU. It has some compatibility problem with the power it draws (whether on battery or power cord on the Mac) and just kills the computer.Sorry to write a negative review - perhaps no one else has this problem and it is some glitch in my MacBook, but please be aware that this can happen.UPDATE: I actually bought two of these at the same time - one for the office and one for home. I just used the one at the office and it worked fine. So perhaps I got a dodgy one first. The second works great so I have amended the rating to three stars. If the CPU crash happens to you, not it here to help TopGeek determine the issue.

This product used to work perfectly when I bought it Oct. 2017.... Now here we are in July 2019 and it won't work anymore.... There's something going on with the wiring... And what's funny is I barely used the device until recently this past week. I guess the cheap wiring affected the performance.

I bought this to connect my Macbook to an external monitor. At first, I received a faulty unit that cut out on me periodically. I was frustrated, but when I contacted the seller, they immediately shipped me a replacement that seems to be working great! Great customer service and a good price.

I attempted to use this on 3 televisions, connected to my MacBook 12: a Sony, Toshiba and Sharp. None worked. Tried 2 different HDMI cords. Again, none worked. Made sure all software was updated on each tv, tried multiple HDMI ports, tried rebooting the computer.Bottom line: nothing worked.I should have followed the advice of other bad reviews and avoided this purchase. You get what you pay for.

Not the greatest connection, but it works well as long as it laying flat and not moving around much.

Did not work with a Samsung as advertised. Too cheap to go through wickets of return or support. Gets a "bah" rating from me.

Needed for my Mac w the new USB-C stuff. Necessary evil now I suppose.I have a dock for my work monitor, I use this one connecting to the big TV.
