Raber Gloves Men's Winter Cowhide Leather Mittens Size L Color Black

As a child one of the first things that you learn is that mittens are warmer than gloves. Why that is so I do not know, but it is true. When it really gets cold mittens will work better than gloves any day of the week, and these are pretty nice mittens. I want exactly say these are the best that I have ever had, but they are close. One of these days I all find the best and I will let you know.

Nice and toasty for coldest days/nights. Left thumb a little tight but was able to stretch out w hammer handle over a few days.

Well made and incredibly warm. A friend is buying a pair, convinced by trying them on. These gloves are so warm that I would not recommend them for temperatures approaching 40 degrees. I have sheepskin mittens that WERE my warmest--these are noticeably warmer and more durable. They are a bit thick, but not inconveniently so. A Canadian product.

The mittens are perfect for below freezing temperatures. They are too warm for 40 degrees weather or warmer. They were exactly what I was looking for.

These are fine if you're taking a romantic walk in a snowstorm - but don't try shoveling snow with them, or doing anything where you have to TOUCH THE SNOW, because they get soaked through pretty quick and your hands end up sitting inside the squishy insulating material. The modern "hi-tech" synthetic stuff is far superior.

These mittens are MUCH better and Much warmer than wool gloves or deerskin with fleece lining gloves. 100% better. The leather is thin so I am not sure how long they will last but they are very warm.
