Adorable, but incredibly tiny
This stump is one of the most adorable ornaments I have! It is beautifully colored and I love the shape.As others have said, it is extremely tiny. As the description states, it is 6-7” at it’s widest point. Don’t be mislead by this, however. The actual usable housing portions of this is maybe 3”. The roots of the stump stick out further, which is what their larger measurement is based on, but the roots are not a usable portion. You’re basically looking at a 3” square unit with roots sticking out. Also, the door is only about 1.5” wide. If your creature is bigger than that, this isn’t the product for you. It would be fine for the tiniest button-size hermit crabs but not medium sized or larger.In the end, the product is as advertised, though the brief description leaves more to be desired. I understand the confusion and disappointment of other buyers. Especially given the hefty price tag (relative to what you get). I'd expect a product easily twice the size for the price. eek.I wish it came bigger- at least twice the size. I’d buy 2!

I purchased this to match the Reptile Cafe LOG hide-away. Basically the same review, coloration is much darker than in the photo so don't get hyped up over the ceramic look it may put off. seems well made and is pleasant to look at. Again just slightly disappointed in the colors.

Smaller than I thought, inside was bumpy and did not have enough room/empty space. Looked hand painted but not very nicely.

Only problem was I did not realize how small it was, my geckos are to big for it now. So next time I will order a bigger one.

Decent do what it is but too small!
I wish this site actually put accurate measurements on the product descriptions! I wouldn't have bought it if I'd realized just how small it is. This stump is soooo tiny. My purple pincher hermit crabs are way too big for this thing. Boooo!
