Love the design. I had another massage stick I had given to a friend in pain, and missed mine for my sciatica. I am happy with the ball bearings and smoothness of roll in this one. I did like that my other one had little balls, which got little muscle spasms better. But this design works well and is way better than nothing. Overall, it's a well designed, heavy duty item that should last.

I can imagine this would work better if you had someone to use it on your body for you. I can't reach parts of my back that really need the knots worked out, and I live alone so it really only benefits my feet after a long day on them. It is well made and sturdy, but it would be nice if it bent and was more flexible for self massage.

This rolls great. My husband uses a bigger roller for his back but wanted to try a small one for his legs. He LOVES it. It rolls smooth and is nicely made.

I feel like Batman (Ben Affleck version)
I have a genetic connective tissue disease called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. It causes overly loose joints, so my muscles feel the need to freak out and become rock hard to support my body. The problem is that my thighs get so tight, they pull my kneecaps up above the socket. It feels like it sounds.My physical therapist told me to roll my thighs out with a rolling pin which was not working very well for me, so I ordered this bad boy.First, it is super sturdy. I could use this as a weapon if needed (reason 1 I feel like Batman) The nubs on the roller are made from a firm foam but not so firm it is painful. This bad boy loosens my thigh muscles way better than my rolling pin. It has hard handles on either side for good grip also.If you are a DC Comics movie fan...you will know the main reason I feel like Batman. 🦇
