The device is not flimsy as was stated in other reviews - there is a knob to tighten the device firmly into place. My only gripe is that it will not hold an Ipad Air in the portrait position. However, it can hold one just fine in the landscape position. Other than that, it's a good deal for the price.

I had originally given this item a scathing review, and claimed that the measurements shown in one of the product images were seriously off, making it unable to accommodate an iPad (my intended use). I later found two buttons on the sides that extend the holder so that it can, indeed, hold an iPad. It seems a little bit flimsy, but so far so good. Apologies to anyone who saw this review before my revision.

I returned it. I thought it was the mic stand and mount. The way the picture looked I thought it had all three

They falsely advertised as fitting mic and music stands... It is too large and needs a bidding to fit properly.. Other than that... It seems to be fine.

Nope. Unstable. The base for the phone doesn't attach safely to the mount. I took it apart, and tried to do several things to lock it in place, but it simply isn't built correctly. I got the iKlip instead and love it. More expensive, but totally worth it.

Great once you get going ! But it doesn't fit a mic stand right out of the box, it will not tighten enough ! You can solve it by cutting a small piece of rubber and placing it between the mic stand and attachment, I used a piece of a rubber floor mat in my shop !

When it actually fits it holds on tight and won’t slide down.

I wanted something to mount on my exercise bike to hold a tablet while I rode. This attaches easily and securely to the handlebars and the grip on the device iks good and snug. I don't know how this would do on the open road -- but I hope no one is reading and cycling.
