Q: What is the difference between ins2-co-01 and ins2-co-03?

Hello, The INS2-CO-03 (Industrial PRO Version), has all the same features of the INS2-CO-01 but in addition has a vibrating alert, is certified intrinsically safe for hazardous working environments, has adjustable alert points for the high and low alerts and a 24 hour TWA, (Time Weighted Average), feature for persons that may be working in a high CO environment all day long. Q: Is the device pre-calibrated just before delivery? Manufacturer specifications say calibration is only good for 6 months. Is time lost in warehouse?

No, because it remained off while in storage. I have owned this item for 3 years and haven't calibrated yet. Occasionally I'll test it against a known source of CO and seems to be responsive. Not sure of your need but if using as a simple detector probably don't need to recalibrate it. If using for commercial application then it's likely you'll need to.
