The media could not be loaded. This is my first voice recorder. I've been using it for a week. Its outstanding performance really goes beyond my expectation.Pros:1. It's sleek and neat, small but sturdy.2. Very easy to use. I tried to use it before I read the user manual and figured out the major functions.3. Recording quality is good and clear, very true to the original voice.4. Could be used as an MP3 player and has 8GB storage space to record and store music. You can also use your own memory card for more songs. I plan to use it when I am in the gym. I feel the sound quality is better when using the earphone. I listened to the music for the entire afternoon and the battery was still full!5. You could even choose the language setting. (Like the setting in a phone or a camera.)6. I like the packaging a lot. They even put the ear phone in an anti-static bag.Cons:The first time I inserted my micro SD card into the slot, I wasn't sure how far to push it in. I even thought the slot was only for the TF card. It also took me 3 times to finally spring release the memory card but it flew out across the room!! The second time I was more experienced, pushing the card carefully and slowly. It finally worked like when I use the card in my mobile phone.Conclusion: This is by far my favorite electronic purchase over the years. (I haven't purchased laptops or phones for years.) Definitely worth buying if you need a voice recorder (or MP3?). Besides recording, you can use it everyday if you like to listen to music. My husband and I had so much fun with this voice recorder. (I recorded when he was singing and we laughed with each other.) Now I seem to be more familiar with my own voice. It's also a good way to practice public speaking or correct pronunciations.

Loud and clear, smaller than it looks on screen, just have to learn the buttons... So far so good, haven't really used it yet, just checked it out too make sure it worked.

Kayowine Digital Voice RecorderWhen we opened the box, we did not expect this to be so small, yet well made (metal body and glass front face)! It is basically a MP3 player with very good dual (stereo?) microphones for sound / voice recording. And with a quick try, it picked up the far away sound with crisp and loud enough with no noise.Once you get a hand of the buttons and functions, it may be useful for dictating the class note, or meeting minutes recording (if allowed) rather than using your smartphone for voice recording which is often restricted from school, or certain companies to use smartphones so this works better because of the sound / voice recording function only.It was nice that the manufacturer of this recorder put 3 demo MP3 songs for testing. We have a Panasonic and Olympus Voice recorders that are very good. But, this Kayowine Digital Voice Recorder built quality and sound quality is superb to those known brand name recorders. The only issue for my preference is that every time you turn it off, the volume setting goes back to full volume, which I have not been able to find a way to keep it low on reboot in the setting. But, that's just my personal preference.

I bought this as a replacement, having lost another voice recorder. It does the basics of what you need it to do (which is to simply record audio), but the controls on this one are not entirely user friendly. The skip buttons also function as selection arrows, and the two buttons on the opposite side are either "enter" or "back". I can see how the buttons might be confusing, and thankfully, I haven't accidentally deleted anything yet. The screen is also very small, so you have to wait for the text to scroll to see the entire file name of your recordings.Recently, I recorded a lecture on this device that wouldn't play back because the "file wasn't supported", which is ludicrous considering I recorded the file with this very device. I wouldn't recommend this recorder; spend a little extra for something better.

Neat little recorder, seems like good quality on the outside, but mine didnt hold a charge and i had to return. Audio quality was good and mic picked up voice from 10 feet away.

We purchased this recorder on January 3, 2018 and use it for meeting minutes. Initially it was great it was easy to use and made taking meeting minutes a breeze. Now we're in April and the recorder does not work at all. We've charged it several times and nothing seems to work. It doesn't power on at all.

I got this device as a voice recorder but I didn't realize you can also use it to play music so that was an added perk. This device is small but it has some weight to it so it makes me feel like it's made well. I tested it out right away and the sound quality is decent for recording voice notes and demo ideas for songs. It's pretty user friendly too. I noticed a port on the side to insert a micro SD card which I'm guessing is to give it memory for your recordings. I can see myself now using this in my car to play music instead of connecting an aux cord to my phone.I also got some extra stuff that I didn't expect such as a little velvet case for it and headphones. Definitely a good buy and at a great price for the extras you get with it.

I bought this to record lecture . To that end, it works like a charm. I now sleep through my lecture and don't miss a word of it.
